As many of you heard, @TucsonTundra1794 suffered a loss. A loss that no father would ever want to go through. Words cannot describe what he must be feeling, so I will not even attempt to.(You can read the post here)

What I do know about our community is how great we all pull together to be the wall to lean on and how warm our hearts are with wanting to help in anyway we can.

To no surprise, the community has come together and we will be doing a raffle of items for @TucsonTundra1794.
All proceeds will be directed to @TucsonTundra1794. He can use the funds for what he needs and/or do what he pleases with it (donate to a non-profit charity of his choice, keep it, use it for expenses - doesn't matter. Whatever helps his family through this time.)

Payment:

*Please note: On the memo line, you will need to list as "Moreno Memorial". Do NOT include the word “raffle” or anything as such as it may cause the funds to be locked.

Instructions for Payment:
1. Funds will be accepted by PayPal (gift/friends) or Venmo. Hit the spoiler for the payment addresses. Make sure you ONLY use the memo “Moreno Memorial” so this doesn’t get flagged by any payment methods.
2. Follow to fill out a form with your entry details. (Sign up using an email; It’s a very quick process.)

@RainMan_PNW has graciously volunteered to help manage this. He is a well known, and trusted member by many of us (some staff too)

So, how will this work?

• The items will then be raffled off in no particular order, value, etc. The name will be from a random name generator.

• Each entry is $20.00. If you donate $60, then you will have three (3) entries. If you donate $62, you will still have three entries. If you donate $66, you will still have three entries. We will not round up, or down. If you donate $100, you will have five (5) entries, etc.
• We are using 20 posts as "reserved"; meaning 20 items for raffle. Some of these items may be combined into one raffle prize pending the item and donator.*12/5/22- Great raffles continue to come in, so we have been adding more spots!

• It will be the responsibility of those who are donating the items to get them shipped to the winner from the raffle. Please do not hesitate on shipping someone an item. Please send within a week, if possible and provide the winner tracking info.

• Those wishing to enter the raffle must also meet BST requirements. Payments from anyone not meeting BST requirements will be considered a donation. Why? The purpose of this event is to help a member in need, not capitalize on a tragedy to win some prizes. BST regulations are in place to ensure the people here are genuinely committed to being a part of this community.

• The item will not be shipped to you unless YOU, the member, who is randomly chosen in the raffle, contact the "seller" with your shipping information. The seller may consult with staff or the thread to confirm validity.

How do I donate an item?

Please PM with a photo and approximate value of the item in your description of the item. We will take that photo and description to add to the original post. Once we secure the donation link, please add your shipping information and username with amount donated (so we can confirm counts)

What if I only want to donate funds, and not towards a raffle prize?

That is perfectly fine. In your donation, please add your username with that note. Please make sure it stands out.

This thread will close on December 10th, 2022 for all entries of raffles where we can then draw names.

The last entry will be accepted at 11:59PM MST on 12/10/2022. Entries made after will not count towards a raffle, and instead will be applied as a donation.
