Was supposed to be replacing the last carpet in the house - a walk in closet upstairs - with laminate. During the demolition phase I got slapped with a change order…

    Paint done
    Flooring done
    Built-ins reinstalled

I’ve got one more built-in to assemble to hide the ductwork elbow at the floor, then the transition trim at the door and baseboards

The ones in those pictures are custom that I built about 10 years ago.
Some day I’ll actually finish the drawer fronts on them.

I also just added this IKEA Aurdal set up to the end wall for a little more storage (and covers the fart fan vent from the bathroom below).

I spent the last 2.5 months working on the bath. It went from this to this. Last room in the house to remodel. The wife has waited 10 years for her princess palace. Just waiting on shower glass.

Very cool! I've been mulling something like this for my cast iron pans. Especially now since I scored two great condition vintage Griswold skillets off Craigslist a few weeks ago. I want to display them when not in use.

No pic but took advice on hot tub directions and pulled a new dedicated 20 amp circuit from main panel. Small job for you basement people but hell on 50 year old fat guy with a crawl space to low for anything other than belly crawl and full of ductwork.

I put my electric riding mower in my shed, but need to keep the charger on it. I want to install a permanent 120vac to the shed, but landscaping and winter will delay that effort. My power cord can run between the front door, but that is a trip hazard. I bought a AC input for the shed wall to facilitate a cleaner wiring for the power cord. It provides two power connections on the inside of the shed. Better than just cutting a hole in the wall.

Looking at remodeling my master shower. Any tips for doing the tile shower floor?

I haven’t decided if this is something I want to tackle or hire someone

Are you tearing up the old and replacing it all? Or just trying to do tile over tile?

Full tear out. I want to do it all over right. Not happy with the wall tile that is there now and it’s a pan currently.

If you've never done any mud work, that pan is gonna humble you real quick. Lol
Might want to look into a preformed foam base, then all you have to do is tile it.

Hung up the dart board in its new spot. Also bought a Viper foul line laser for the setup.

You can also look into a cast iron shower pan as another option. They look nice and they’re extremely heavy and solid. If you want a curbless shower then I would hire a professional.

+1 for a cast iron pan, though you are locked into only certain available sizes. But they are bomb proof.

Appreciate the advice! Looks like a good option but I think the higher power is dead set on a seat and tile pan.
Looks like I’ll be finding (hopefully) a knowledgeable contractor. I am sure I could figure it out but I don’t have the time for the learning curve and mitigating a lack luster original job

You don’t need a contractor necessarily, you need the skilled sub he uses to do a side job for you. Save big $$$ dealing direct, as long as you have a good idea what the job should cost. Ask around, always helps to know a guy. Or know a guy that knows a guy.

Framed up a new walk in pantry and moved the water heater to the garage. Wife will be happy. Ready for sheet rock! Also completed an assortment of plumbing jobs, replacing frozen and leaky valves. Wired some new outlets and light boxes as well.
