Heck yeah! Does it shut off when you open the door like the Tundra?
That would be such an easy programming fix for Toyota.

It does. As soon as it unlocks, but I've never thought that was a big deal. Either way you have to get in and hit the button with your foot on the brake, and I'm not worried that starting the truck a couple extra times is going to do any kind of damage. Just not something I've ever viewed as an issue. :notsure:

It annoyed me on the wife’s Highlander in the summer here. It definitely heated up faster than it cooled down. I could see it being less of an issue in cold weather.

Ah, yeah, I don't live in satan's butthole, so not the same issue when it's hot. I just unroll the windows and use some old fashioned AC to get the temp better. That doesn't work down on your level of hell. :bananadead:

Yeah, the temp will be up, but the wind chill will make it feel just as cold. Ask me how I know.

Beards definitely help with the cold. Snow/ice on it is just another layer of insulation.

We have a winter storm warning. 6-10 inches forecasted and looking at what we have so far I think we are going to be on the 10+ range

Walking around saying goodbye to all the retirees this morning. At least a dozen people leaving this week. Keeping with the culture around here, the good ones are leaving, the bad ones (that could/should leave) are staying, and a lot of people are being forced into new positions they don’t want.

Beatings will continue until morale improves.

When my time comes I don’t think I’m going to let people know ahead of time or send a “see ya” email. Drawing this crap out is too exhausting.

That's a rough go. I don't think that "culture" is restricted to your workplace. The good ones always move on to bigger and better things, and the ones that do just enough to not be fired just linger forever. Usually blaming the boss/world/their star sign for the lack of promotion or any other perceived slight.

That would be the smart move...

When Con & I agreed to move down here to Florida , the company I worked for was on "Winter break"...I just walked into the main office and asked about transferring or closing my 401.... Boss man over heard the conversation and asked WTH ???

I then explained why and the rest is history...Two weeks later I had a U-Haul trailer hooked to the Tacoma heading south bound :hattip:

I gotta say, even for all the good info, the dipshits of TW make me dislike it quite a bit. I'm so glad that I had a Tundra first and got to know this community first. If TW had been my first of these sister sites to try, I don't think I would have bothered with others. What a miserable bunch of children.

I heard about the juveniles on TW when I was active on a Ford forum. Their reputation is well known in the forumverse.

The thing that sparked that last bit of whining from me was a fanboy level defense of the Chevy Trail Boss that went to the level of accusing me of having never been near one. Like, really? Why would I lie about having driven a truck I don't like? What do I gain? The guy was being contentious purely for the sake of it, and doesn't know how to effectively argue or defend a point in a debate. Literal child behavior with baseless accusations, goal post moving, excessive "lol"s/"haha"s to try and seem superior/unruffled, and avoiding anything that counters their assertions. I was just waiting for him to tell me his dad can beat up my dad.

I hate people. We need a new plague.

The day ended with people asking me for status on a project that I’m not even involved with. I’m just a “cc” participant on the emails. Very “last man standing” chit. How about asking the manager involved in the project that has been MIA for weeks to pull his head out of his ass?

I know lots of people are in a panic but I shouldn’t have to train anyone how to use an org chart. Saying WTF! doesn’t even start to cover it…

Let anyplace get out of control and things just spiral. Then people show up and think that’s how you “join the gang”.

I've been a member over there since '09 and yes , things have changed quite a bit...

I rarely even view the site now as my "thoughts" were :smash::smash: a second time....

You really need to sift through all the :crapstorm: to realize who the

"good folks" are and then they are on the back channels o_O :hattip:

Man, that sucks. I'd just reply/respond with "I'll forward your email to the manager in charge of the project." And boot that email right down the road.
