2013 Sequoia Limited to TRD FAUX build now with BOOST!

it actually looks better in person & the headset sounds good, it gets very loud.







This is how it looks off from the driver side.

 

Over 40 movies & 200gb still available.

 

I set up the radio output in the unit & in my radio & it plays fine (not that I can see a time I'll want it running through the head unit)

 

I have an inverter that has been under the hood for a while, I have collected the parts to bring it inside & install plugs in the truck.

I have 3 3rd gen OEM plugs & 3 Amazon plugs. I like the OEM plugs but their connectors on the back are oddball so I need to figure out how to use them.

 

Another way to have the sound through the head unit, play the same program on both ROKUS
Both running on my old ATT Netgear router on T-Mobile who wanted 30 a month for 10GB & 40 for 15. I added an unlimited (100GB prior to throttling) phone for 35 AND IT'S A PHONE! lol

Another reason to hold on to things even though it's been in a drawer for years since I left ATT




It's hilarious, this is what T-Mobile shows the hotspot as.

 

I got 13 pages of 12 movies & the 14th has 10 on the micro SD card.

But the eBay seller screwed me so I found a used one for 130 and had to buy the external antenna for 35 on its own. coming from Canada supposedly today but tracking has it leaving Memphis late Monday so I doubt it.

 

Possible great news, these are available locally online, the seller is less than 10 miles from me, and says he will accept 450. The odd thing is he posted them yesterday and is out of town. He agreed to meet Monday but it seems odd to post something & leave town.

 

Those are on my list of upgrades. Toyota price is something like $650 plus shipping.

 

Seller contacted me at 5:30 yesterday saying I'm here others want the running boards do you still want them? I said I do and have the cash but can't come now.

He said he works an hour+ away 8-5 so won't be home until 6:30 tonight, which is late for me and I'm feeling odd. He also reiterated cash only (after I said I had the cash) What do you guys think?

 

i'd jump on them if you want them. especially if they're not far from you. if it's a quick drive, go grab them and go home to bed or whatever. you'll regret passing on it probably later

 

I absolutely want them & if I passed I'd be ordering them for 250 more from a dealer. I'm feeling scammy.

i feel ya. personally, it seems ok to me. but maybe i'm too trusting. (to an extent, since i'd still have a gun ha)

He came back with a gas station 1/2 mile from my house, now I'm waiting for when. Seems promising!

 

He said 6-6:30 so I assume he'll let me know when he is near the gas station in a few hours.

The outside antenna for the cel booster came finally.

 

I got them! There was a bit of drama, he didn't message me when he should have been at the gas station so I messaged it would take me 5 minutes to get there, he said he was helping hs son with homework, I had been waiting to get a prescription and said so, said I can come to the intersection he said he lived near and he gave me his address. I drove the 11 miles & they are mine!


The booster makes a huge difference:

 

Glad you got them and didn't have to waste any expensive ammo!

 

They are new & I can't wait to get them in, going to do the 5 gallon air tank at the same time as it will use the same mounting points.

 

How heavy is each side?

 

I'm guessing 5-7lbs, but that's a guess.

 

The antenna for my Smoothtalker cel booster was delayed a week, (the one that came yesterday) I ordered another and paid for expedited shipping this time, was supposed to deliver yesterday & was in PHX Sunday but no, somehow, Tuesday is on time for a Monday delivery promise???
