Yeah, I had to fly to Houston from SWFL to score my '23 1794 Hybrid TRD Off-Road in Blueprint! Broke it in, on the 1100 mile drive home!

I live about an hour and a half east of them. Coincidentally have a WCP 1794 reserved with them now, due in January, and my current '18 Tacoma Pro was bought there.

It's here! Waited two months and it arrived early! '23 SR5 TRD Sport Premium Package and some other extras. This one replaces my '19 TRD Pro. I'll replace the stereo in the next few months & upload the install pics. A bed cover & the TRD 3" lift, and she'll be done. Overall I'm thrilled, I think Toyota hit it out of the park with the new Tundras. :woot:

Only chatted with Dan Taylor so far but I think I recall Tony back in 2018 when I bought my Tacoma. It will hopefully be here next month!

From my comparison of test drives on std gas only and the hybrid that I bought and now with 2500 miles, that's a pretty accurate description of the differences.

Picked up a Limited Crew 4x4, 5.5 bed at MSRP. Toyota of Paris, Texas. Clint McMillan, (903)784-8989. Easy to work with. Put cat plates ($320) from local fabricator and tailgate gard on it as I am headed to San Antonio and Austin for the week.

SR5 CM TRD Sport with TRD convenience, found the cheapest SR5 with trd sport package with blind spot monitors that I could, super late 2022, ordered in July - delivered in Nov.

Took me 6 weeks to talk myself out of a platinum, then out of a limited, then to sr5 with the trd sport package, I bought this truck mainly for looks, my last ride was a 2017 laramie ram ecodiesel, and tbh it blows this 3rd gen out of the water everywhere except for motor power. Not complaining, I know what I bought, but damn my gf is quite unhappy this truck went backwards in creature comfort.

Not worth 12k+ for platinum, imo vehicle gets you from point a to point b. The value is not there compared to every other mfg out there.

Ppl won't understand this on a Toyota specific forum, but w/e

    275/60/r20 Pirelli Scorpions
New Tundra owner here as of a week ago... traded in my Taco : (... but stoked on this new truck! 2023 Limited 4x4. Only thing I've done is swapped the stock tires for some 275/60/r20 Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus'. Had them on my Taco, and they were great for 90% on road (and lots of snow), 10% off road driving, which is just about where I'm at. Going to a full 33' tire did increase my ground clearance from 9.4 to 9.65'', but who's counting? Realized after I originally got the Pirelli's they now come as the AT option for the Rivians.

Silver wasn't my color of choice, but in the limited trim level with the chrome accents, I think it blends well. Broke in the engine with a trip over the CO Rockies and back, got 19.8 mpg breaking it in with the slightly bigger tires! Psyched on the improvement in fuel economy. Driving Ouray, through Silverton, to Durango in snow pack and pavement with this truck and tire combo was excellent. Tonneau cover coming, should help with that a bit more too. Gave up the chase for my unicorn dc 2wd sr5 longbed when this 4wd sr5 went on sale black friday. My old '18 5.7 with Trd intake and Trd duals sounded amazing but the drivetrain in the new trucks is better in every way but noise.20221126_150343.jpg 20221205_161923.jpg

I agree. A vehicle get's you from point a to point b that's a fact not an opinion. On the other hand your comment about value in this case is your opinion. I (and maybe others might?) find your comment "...Ppl won't understand this on a Toyota specific forum..." mis-guided and somewhat insulting. Just because I'm on this forum doesn't mean I don't understand value (or not) compared to other manufacturers. In fact, my definition of value led me to buy a new Tundra and NOT the others.

@jimmyz. Beautiful truck! I'm waiting for the exact same allocation to land in Winnipeg. Are those the stock tires? If not, what make/size did you replace them with? Did you do any other upgrades to your truck?
