I need/want to go up another 1.5"- 2", I'm considering doing a body lift. I realize there are no kits for this but its easy enough to build.
Has anyone in here done it on these trucks ? Pics ?

**Note: I'm not asking if you think I should or what you think of them, thanks anyways.

I know there was a thread about a dude that did a body lift of 3+ inches but it was probably in 2021 and he got shit on pretty hard. Seems you know this is not the preferred method but seems you have thought this thru. Also sounds like you are adding it to another lift so not sure how pics of a different set up will help.

I'd just say to go for it since you have your mind made up. Good luck

I considered it as well, have the standard 3 inch lift and wanted a couple more inches. The body lift involves extending pretty much all the brake lines, power steering hose, bumper relocation brackets, steering rod extension, etc. it ended up being so much work I scrapped the idea.

I did read on a post here where a guy made his own 3/4 inch spacers and that was the max he could go without all the other work involved, but didn’t seem worth that either for just 3/4 inch.

I have run body lifts a few times on Jeeps (cj, yj) with no issue, and wheeled those vehicles too. They used to be very popular, dont really see them much anymore.

Daystar and performance accessories come to mind, they probably have kits for Tundra depending on the year. I used daystar on the jeeps.

It should not be an issue but like any mod, there can be trade offs. Just make sure the body bushings are good (or replace them) as well as ensure all the hardware is in good shape, no rust, etc. A body lift causes some additional leverage on the mounts/hardware, usually not a problem in typical driving but if you do extreme off road trails, probably better to skip this mod.

to avoid the steep axel angles and line issues the drop bracket lift is the answer for the fellas that need a few more inches (that's what she said) lol.

    Thanks.
Pics help because I can see what the gap actually looks like. The amount of lift it might have doesn't change that.
I've had several jeeps with them, back in the day cause I'm old as dirt. lol. Never had any issues

Building longer PS lines, steering shafts, coolant hoses, filler hose and all that are not too big a deal. It can all be prepped way ahead of time
