I try to use the handle but bad habits are hard to break. Hopefully these will retrain me.

Thank you guys! Haven’t quite seen it in daylight but even if it’s off a bit, I still like it better than the chrome.

Got the rear cat shield installed, which completes the Valhalla set. I went with 3/16 steel. I'd waited on the rear plate until Tyler engineered the door for fluid changes (so I don't have to take the plate off to change diff fluid), so it's a weight off that I'm finally fully covered. They're very solid - I'm comfortable calling them skid plates, not just cat protection.

You have to push harder at first then it figures out where it needs to be and flattens out better

It’s pretty easy. 10-15 minutes for all doors and don’t need to remove the panel. You can guide the wire down to the controls. Have them in the tundra and Tacoma

The tundra doesn’t have the same functions. The driver side is always on and you can turn off all the others with the window lock since that’s where it gets power. Also cannot dim / bright them with the cluster dial like I can the Tacoma.

Pretty easy to install but they will be on any time the ignition is on, not just with the headlights or parking lights.

Now if there were illuminated window switches (other than the cartrimhome) and an illuminated mirror switch......

I’ve seen some threads on Tacomaworld for the second gen Tacoma use some for the mirror switch

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mirror-control-switch-question.382370/

Seems there are a few versions though. It’s in the back of my mind but haven’t gone too far down the hole to try it since I never move mine, but will probably get to it one day

Ah, the company that, in the late 2000s/early 2010s, bought a legit Volk TE37, pressed it into some mold material and started producing blatant FAKES. Too bad VTX uses this shithole of a company for manufacturing.
