What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I posted a few months back

 

Got the rear cat shield installed, which completes the Valhalla set. I went with 3/16 steel. I'd waited on the rear plate until Tyler engineered the door for fluid changes (so I don't have to take the plate off to change diff fluid), so it's a weight off that I'm finally fully covered. They're very solid - I'm comfortable calling them skid plates, not just cat protection.

 

Had mine on for over 2 years and sticks very well. Very good at keeping the dust to a minimum

 

You have to push harder at first then it figures out where it needs to be and flattens out better

 

And, from the inside, the door handle is pretty handy.

 

Yup. It’s already getting better.

How difficult was the door bowl install?

It’s pretty easy. 10-15 minutes for all doors and don’t need to remove the panel. You can guide the wire down to the controls. Have them in the tundra and Tacoma

The tundra doesn’t have the same functions. The driver side is always on and you can turn off all the others with the window lock since that’s where it gets power. Also cannot dim / bright them with the cluster dial like I can the Tacoma.

 

Pretty easy to install but they will be on any time the ignition is on, not just with the headlights or parking lights.

Now if there were illuminated window switches (other than the cartrimhome) and an illuminated mirror switch......

 

I have the cartrimhome ones and have had no issues with them so far.

Seems there are a few versions though. It’s in the back of my mind but haven’t gone too far down the hole to try it since I never move mine, but will probably get to it one day
