What is this plug found behind a blank plate?

    Located in front of the center console on a 2016 TRD Pro. It was plugged into the blank plate, not just loosely behind it

    The factory security system glass breakage sensor that your truck wasn't equipped with. The wire harness and switch bank are most likely the same across different trim levels. But your Body Control Module is different and doesn't have a provision for it. So they just install a blank-out plate in the opening that secures the connector from rattling.
