Yes, the one I used was too snug and the seal was too overall thick.
As @Rangergillikin stated the thinner one he used would be a better option.

Tundra | Side View Replacement Mirrors (spottermirror.com)

I already had Muth signal mirrors in my 2014 SR5 when replaced them with these spotter mirrors this year..
I had to run wiring to the kickplate for them years ago.
Some Tundras have the turn signal feed in the mirror plug, mine didn't..
Mine had the pink and brown wires, they just didn't have any power.

Here are the circuit wire colors, and pin number 4 in the mirror plug to test to see if one's truck has the feed.
N5 and M6 are the mirror plugs.

If you don't have puddle lights in your mirrors and you ever considered doing them, I would add the wiring when you do the turn signals.
You don't want to do that twice as I did....:eek2:
Used a zip tie to feed it thru.

    3CA25F21-87C0-4191-A9F6-D753C3996F42_zps_82790d4650095d9d203092f07212d6a4c0eb84d1.jpg

One more thing, I added connectors close to the mirror plug to these feed wires in case the mirror needs to be removed..

VLED universal puddle lights are awesome.
I tapped into the little worthless driver's footwell light for power.
They fade on and off just like the footwell light did.
I replaced it with front and rear LED footwell lights.

Connected the air lines and got it up in the mount. Now that I'm looking at it, I need to rotate the kit 90 degrees. That will prevent debri from getting into the forward facing horns.

Adjusted and test fit my hang glider rack. I still need to buy some pool noodles to pad the crossbars.

Started working on the Auxbeam. I had the idea to mount it to the printed 3 switch panel that fits in the coin tray. I enlarged the bottom holes in the Aux switch panel to accept the little bolts that came with the printed panel then used the Dremel to notch out the panel corners.

In order to get the Auxbeam cover to fit over the bolt heads (Allen), I had to cut/grind down the existing screw holes in the cover (wasn't fun). The printed panel leaves enough room to screw in the Auxbeam screws so the top 2 hold down the switch cover.

I like how it fits in the tray...

Rago fab powered dash mount. Front/rear anytime camera. Not happy at all with the placement of the front camera. I cannot see the ground immediately in front, as it sits/aims too high. I’m putting on a bumper within the next few months - I’ll play with the camera placement after that.

Was gone on vaca OCONUS and came home to this!!!!! Been on back order since April. Icon likes to give bigger vendors their orders in front of reg customers. And then post instagram ads like they keep shit in stock. They fill other big dealer orders ahead of those still waiting. Gonna be a bit before install since Im still waiting on the RTX leaf pack for this stage 8 kit. Im happy to get it but at no point am I happy with its delivery it came scratched on the coil of the passenger side. At least they didn't leak during shipment. ‍More to folllow…

This one has a 4cl 660cc Subaru engine w/ ~75k miles. It is bizarre left hand shifting for sure. Blinker and light stalks are reversed too. So far it's exceeding expectations as I bought it sight unseen.

    Nope - just regular.

I split open some fire hose and had Velcro sewed to the edges so I could put them on my rack when hauling materials. I have a TracRac similar to that. I had mine cerakoted black so I’m trying not to scratch it up too bad. I use mine to carry metal, building materials and kayaks. Those are nice strong racks.

Thought of that, but I think my bumper will protrude too much for it. I’ll see once I put the bumper on in a few months.
