Not doing anything to the wheels. I took the decorative button head fender flare bolts off and had them cerakoted black.

 

Started assembly while I was at work yesterday.

 

I'll take more pics once it is hoisted in the mount. Finishing up the decorations first.

 

Whatcha gunna do with your spare George, or do you already have it somewhere else?

 

It will be in the bed under the cover. The nice thing about this setup is that the electrical will be quick disconnects so I can put the spare under the truck if needed when we go camping, road trips, etc.

 

Suspension upgrade. I'm on my phone, hopefully these pics don't come through enormous.

Installed Rough Country 2” leveling lifted struts on front and RC N3 shocks on the rear.

Does it stick well to the Line-X?

 

I brought the rear up with 3/4" Total Chaos shackles. I like a little rake. 74weld quality is impeccable, I was surprised to even see they made a set of uppers for the Tundra. They will set you back a little over a grand though

 

I’m still waiting on mine. May have to start watching ebay.

 

Didn’t have to stick it to the bed liner. Where you see it stuck is where the bed liner stops. I did put two short pieces at the top of the sides on the bed liner. Seems to stick pretty good. Wiped it down with alcohol first. I have factory bed liner that came on the Texas edition Tundra.

 

Those wheels (particularly the color) look perfect for the color of your rig

 

I hope that wears better than the TruXseal I tried.
It fell apart weeks later, it was too damn thick to begin with...

Does this make the tailgate close more quietly and snug? Just curious of other possible benefits.

 

They sell thinker ones like yours for different trucks. From what I could decipher from their website tundras take the thin ones. Their website is a little confusing. Hopefully it will hold up awhile.

 

You have to push harder to make it close. So it definitely snugs it up. Not sure if it quieter because you have to close it harder. I think it will break in after being compressed for awhile so It should get easier to close.
