Westcott vs Cornfed Spacer Kits

    Hey guys I did some searching around but couldn't find too much comparing these two kits.

    I have a 2022 TRD off-road and I am intending to throw on 35 x 12.5 tires here soon. My biggest concern is ride quality in the front. I know it will take a hit regardless but I am wondering if going with the Cornfed 2.5/1 kit would possibly be smoother since it isn't as maxed out in the front as the Westcott 3/1 kit. Cornfed is obviously cheaper but I want something that will last years. My research on this forum showed some people saying Westcott rides horribly in the front even after an alignment. Other sources online said Westcott rode the same as factory once he aligned.

    To get my 35s on with the best possible ride quality and no rub for a spacer kit do you guys think I should do;

    -Westcott 3/1 kit
    -Cornfed 2.5/1 kit
    -RC 1.75" and 1" Cornfed Rear

    Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
    If you are worried about ride quality then lifting the truck and adding probably E load tires may not be the right move.

    There are threads about both products, one recent one about westott was all about folks being unhappy with the harder ride on the 2022s.

    Lifting a truck changes suspension angles, often includes heavier springs, then adding e load tires = all make the ride firmer/harder. Some are ok with that, others are unhappy with the changes in ride.

    Stock shocks were not designed to control 35inch tires, so best ride will come from a quality lifted coil over vs a spacer. And if you do offroad (anything more than tame forest roads) then skip the spacer, they dont play well off road where the truck is hitting good bumps, articulating the suspension. Plenty of broken shocks, shock mounts and such from folks wheeling with a spacer lift.

    Lastly, since you are new, expect to drop a few MPG with the mods you want to do.

    Just going to toss this out there, I have the wescott kit, quality , customer service all of it great. There 3/1 lift is not really 3 in the front ( i think they even talk about this in a video). I don't know if cornfeds is actually giving 2.5 either never seen it. I can tell you I did my wescott lift, also installed a lift for someone else, which was a 2 1/2 motofab Amazon spacer kit and a cornfed rear 1 inch the trucks are the same height look identical.

    To your question, with proper alignment it rides great I have no complaints, its as expected for a lifted truck on E rated tires.

    On my truck obviously I did the wescott I think the quality is better. When Dobinson comes out with a setup I will probably switch to that.

    Word to the wise on either kit, when you have to compress those trd offroad springs god bless they are stiff.

    Thanks for your input, yes I know I will lose some milage and definitely add a harsher ride. I am mostly just trying to find which is the lesser of two evils in regard to ride quality.

    BFG has a LT Load range C 315/70R17 KO2 btw. They are used on the Ford Raptor and the Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon package. Bronco Sasquatch has a 315/70R17 Wrangler Territory MT in a load range C as well.

    I have the KO2's on my F150 that I bought off a guy with a Raptor and can confirm that they ride well and I didnt take a big hit on MPG's coming from a 275/60R20.

    i have an icon 2.25 front and cornfed 1" rear currently and it rides pretty good.
