    Well I received my mirror from the link above for under $20.

    Gentex Model HFCHL4

    4 wires coming out of the mirror but only 3 on the harness that plugs into mirror which I find odd.

    I figure the 3 wires not ground are switched power for the compass, autodim and homelink.
    Anybody know for sure?

    My google searches have come up empty for a wiring diagram.

    Black = Ground
    Green = ?
    White = ?
    Grey =?

    Out of the attached harness -

    Black is constant power
    Black / White is switch power
    Then the obvious ground

    I'm thinking of picking this mirror up for my gf's 19 Corolla. Not sure the best way to find out if the mount style is the same or not but for the price it might be worth a shot anyway. Her car isn't a base trim and for some reason just has a basic non electric mirror.
    I'd love to find another budget friendly mirror with 'map' lights and homelink for my Corvette.

    Ordered the Kia mirror. Hoping for good fitment but not sure when I'll have the chance to try and install on anything.

    I also ordered and received 2 of the Kia mirrors this past week. I swapped one onto my 03 AC SR5 and it fits directly onto the existing window tombstone, no replacement needed. I also positioned the wires through the overhead console area of the headliner, across the driver side, and down the A pillar to tap into one of the fuses in the dash panel fuse box. I will probably use the ACC fuse as it powers the cigarette lighters and should come on when the key is in ACC. My original goal was to tap into power at the overhead console, but all wires there are constant power. I didn't want the mirror drawing power all the time, so I decided to use the included wires and route it down to the fuse box.

    Still haven't added the add-a-fuse or wired it up, I'm just waiting for the weekend. I'll provide an update if all goes well so you all can follow suit. If everything works out I'll be installing my 2nd mirror in my wife's 2010 Corolla.

    On the long cable with 3 wires (that plugs into the wires coming directly from the mirror), I believe the black/white stripe is ground. As it has a ring terminal on the end. Not 100% positive though, I will update this thread once I get it all wired up this weekend.

    I installed both Kia mirrors in my Tundra and my wife’s Corolla. Both are completely functional and work well!

    First, I cut off the crappy splice connectors and tied both of those wires from the harness into an add-a-fuse. Then I plugged in the add-a-fuse into the ACC fuse position in the interior fuse box. This controls power to the cigarette lighter and only comes on when the key is on ACC. I also used an existing ground in this area to add the ring terminal for ground. I ran the wire harness up the A-pillar and across the headliner to the open space in the ceiling where the map lights sit. There I connected the harness to the plug from the mirror itself. I calibrated the mirror and all is working well! Looks clean and functions just as I had hoped.

    Thanks for letting us know about these mirrors, it’s an amazing deal!

    Last email I got from the tasca website a few days ago said that my part required special ordering and it was delayed. Still hasn't shipped yet. Probably gonna include it as part of my gf's Christmas present so hopefully it shows up by Christmas. Need to put in the dashcam she got last year too so just gonna do it all together I hope.

    Did the mirror attach to the factory "tombstone" in the Corolla as well?

    Yes, the Corolla tombstone looked identical to the Tundra and the Kia mirrors fit perfectly to both. It’s a 2010 Corolla

    So you plugged all the power wires into the add a fuse in the ACC fuse box? So Homelink will not work unless the key is on correct?

    They might've run out of stock. Hopefully not for good - sometimes when you see these killer prices, it's because they're actively trying to clear out inventory.

    Correct. All mirror functions only work when the key is in ACC/ON. I don't have a garage and have no need for the Homelink buttons, so I tied both into the same add-a-fuse to make it easy on myself. I bet you could isolate the Homelink power wire from the mirror and link it to constant if you're interested in that function.

    I want the Homelink but I only want it to work with the key on. Prevents people from opening my garage if they break in or I forget to lock my doors. We have a huge problem with people just going around checking for unlocked doors.

    Got it. That's a good idea. I assumed that one power wire was for the compass, and the other was for Homelink. So just tie both together to the same add-a-fuse and they will both receive power at the same time. And both work this way, the red light turns on when a Homelink button is pressed.

    Installed my mirror today in about one hour. The wire harness was not long enough so I cut it about 6” from the plug and spiced the 2 power wires together and spiced the ground to 16 guage wires and ran to my fuse box and used a add a fuse to the 15 amp cig fuse. All works perfect. Homelink works great without constant power and remembers my garage door code. Seriously best $25 I have spent on my truck. Thanks @Shifty for the heads up.

    My mirror finally showed up a couple days ago. Looks good. The bag with the wire harness and zip ties is dated 2017 so these things have been sitting around a while it seems.

    Hopefully I can find a way to make it work on my girlfriend's Corolla. It's a 2019 with lane keep assist and auto braking and it has a camera assembly up by the mirror. Appears to have a regular tombstone up in there just have to figure out how to get at the bolt.

    Post 11 shows the kit comes complete; May need extra wiring based on your application.

    Thanks. I pulled my overhead light and no plug was in there, but there were some extra wires that appear to not have a harness on them.

    Show us the plug with the wires going into it.

    Curious if you may have this up there....

    You have a DC, you're probably pre-wired for the overhead console w/temp and clock or whatever. AC/RC trucks didn't have 'em.

    There are two variations of harness up there, here's the other, and some more wiring info.

    White with black stripe hooked together like that is usually a cluster of grounds coming together.

    Oofta. Ordered the Kia mirror and it arrived damaged. But, they reimbursed me and told me to keep it. Ordered another one, hopefully this one makes it.

    I'm going to miss having the thermometer in the glass but for $11 for an auto dim mirror with home link and compass I can't really complain.
