Definitely more legit to pick a first Gen paint color.

what I love most about quicksand is how nice it looks when dirty. White isn’t terrible for that either but what a brilliant idea to just paint a truck the color of dirt.

Yes, and that friend has owned 3 vehicles since then. A Hyundai, a 3rd Gen Taco and now a 2.5 Gen Tundra. Though he went through 2 or 3 of those when picking. Haven’t seen it yet. I kinda feel like a dick making him do that at the peak.

Can't bring myself to like that picture. That sucks. I bet the majority of that could be popped out. The yellow/white marks actually looks like paint transfer and not just scratches. That means it should buff out.

Ballard I guess is what they’re called? 7-eleven parking lot. Placed there to protect the handicapped ramp handrail. Just short enough not to see, even in mirrors. I think the majority will pop out. Just hope the creases aren’t too bad. Got the rear fender and the rear door. Dammit. On a brighter note, my locker is scheduled to arrive before end of day today.
Might make a new thread on my body repair.

Bed dent should pop most of the way out with a suction cup. DILDO DENT REPAAAAAAAAIR!

I doubt you'll need more than a basic polish to get the yellow paint out, or light compound if you want to do it quicker.

Curious how bad is the cab corner, just paint transfer, or is there a crease?

I did this three times to my '03 Sierra within the first year I moved to Atlanta. Too much shit to hit, the city is a parking deck farm with hidden hazards everywhere.

Sad part is, I paid to have it repaired twice. Third time, I traded that MFer in. Turning radius sucked ass on that truck.

Wouldn’t ever want that long of a wheelbase. Or bed.
I had an electrician on my job once, driving a BRAND NEW F150. He had pulled up to a storefront along a red curb, and there was one about 5 feet in front of his truck, and only about 2 feet tall. He was inside working for a couple hours and had become really frustrated with whatever he was working on and had to run to homey depo for materials. He stormed out jumped in his truck slammed the door started it up and punched it. That lil muh fugn pole didn’t budge, didn’t even crack the blacktop surrounding it, but damn near totaled his truck. I was standing there and watched it but he was so angry and it happened so fast I couldn’t have stopped him. Those lil bastards are evil I tell ya.

That reminds me of a campground I stayed at. Campsite had wood posts sticking out of the ground to outline the parking spot. I noticed the asphalt was stained near one of them and the wood was a little chewed up. Obvious someone punctured their oil pan or something with it.

These are what I'm talking about.

Picked up a mattress today at REI that was in their garage sale. Has a waterproof base and a combo of dense foam and memory foam plus rolls up nicely. 30" wide, so that will be over the right wheel well with storage understand and then the left will end up being my kitchen/desk.

Plus I suck. Broke 3/8 of the bolts on my tie down trying to get them off. Not quite sure what to do. I'd really like to have tie downs.

I’ve seen enough body repairs that my father did over the years to know.

I was lucky with my first car since he repaired it with lead instead of plastic filler. Very few if any people still know how to do that.

Yea I was looking for the plugs under my seat but not sure what they look like. I have the plugs for the switches under my console but am coming up empty under my seats. At least the drivers side. I still need to get under the passenger side.

I just didn't realize what I was doing. Now my rear shocks are fancier than the front. Or more damped than the front. They don't match and it offends me.

It feels stiff all around compared to how squishy it was.

We may have to trade rear shocks.

Bigger white plug on the driver seat. Picture is from the front looking back to rear seat. I believe both plugs are forward of the seat belt receivers but not 100% sure. I can take a look in the AM too if you need
