Hello I’m new to the community. I had just gotten a 2007 Tundra limited with the ab60f transmission. I did a fluid change in my transmission along with the filter and a bad solenoid s2. Now I put everything back the way it was and now there is no reverse. Also, there is no neutral. It drives in neutral.

I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to resolve the issue?

    thank!!

This is exactly what happened to my 2010 but about 5000 miles after a full drain fill and filter. I got a low mike junkyard transmission after the best transmission shop in town said the transmission was toast.

    good luck.

I had the same thing on a Chevy transmission, and it was seized up/welded clutch packs and rings from being low on fluid. I would check the fluid level again. Unless the solenoid is somehow causing that, I suspect you need a new trans or rebuild that one.

If it worked before you tore into it then it’s either low on fluid, bad solenoid or you pinched some wires.

Someone on here recently changed their trans filter and the new one didn’t have the same orifices lining up where the old one did. Essentially blocking some of the fluid channels in the trans. Would double check the trans filter is the correct one. The solenoid was the correct one and correctly installed and the fluid level is correct.

So you know these trucks have a specific way to check for the transmission fluid right? The fluid has to be checked at a specific temperature using the fluid check nut. Did you check it using the specific method? if not please check the fluid level properly.

I would guess that the wrong filter was installed or the solenoid is bad.
No need to look for a new transmission yet.

Hello. I'm about to do a drain and fill on my 2010. Wondering if you dropped the pan and replaced the filter on yours? What exactly was the cause of your transmission failing? Thanks.
