Finally a Tundra Owner

I've been eyeing Toyota Tundras since 2015....

Finally got one in today.

2021 Tundra SR, V8, 4x4 with an 8 foot bed. Its vanilla. Only upgrade it came with are leather seats and factory sprayed bed.

This is the first truck I have ever owned. I like vehicles simple and reliable. Looking for basic upgrade ideas to start with. And later as I become more confident and proficient doing some additional mods to the vehicle.

Yes I did.

I was working on purchasing a Red 8'bed Tundra but it was sold while I was still talking with the dealer. This one was option number 2, I sat on it for 3 weeks before pulling the trigger on it. Actually, transmission issues with my other car (it still runs) forced my hand.

 

That's a really clean SR...the leather interior is a nice bonus. Enjoy!

And here we go with the upgrades:

1. Had Ziebart + Diamond gloss done on the vehicle at a shop. $980

2. I installed aluminum running boards. Ionic 41 Series Black Running Boards for $240.
---it was actually difficult to install. There were little to no tolerances between the bracket holes and holes in the frames. Or maybe I just suck. It took a few hours.

3. New front plate.
