Damn you! She said the exact same thing. Is this the New World Order talking points? :monocle: How do you feel about eating bugs?

It's true. I love cheese, though. That never gets removed, but I've gotten to the point of telling them I'm allergic to pickles when I place an order. I don't even want a pickle to touch my food. I do like pickles, but not on anything, and only whole dill pickles. Not a fan of the chips or spears.

I'm not exactly keen on eating bugs, but I'd give it a shot if I were visiting somewhere and it was their authentic food. Not sure I'd like any of it as I'm a texture person with most of my food dislikes.

I agree that pickle juice is hard to extract from anything if you don't like it, but we are living in extraordinary times here. We all need to sacrifice for the greater good.

My wife spent $200 at the grocery store and didn't get any actual food we can make meals with.

Sounds like she bought a package of toilet paper and a package of paper towels. If she bought off-brand you might have a box of tissues as well.

Well yeah, have you seen what $200 gets you these days? A bag of chips, a loaf of bread, a jar of pasta sauce and an apple is about it.

Just got laid off without any notice on Friday after lunch lol. We were slow for a few months but had plenty to keep us a float, worked in the engineering department making AutoCAD drawings. I was an excellent employee. Already back at the car shop I left, starting Monday. I’m done rotting in an office. I can make more working on cars. Employers should have more respect for their employees, this is part of the reason I believe why nobody wants to work anymore.

    Corporate America....:mad::mad:

Booked our room awhile back and went to check in Friday afternoon; 1st off poor thing about bit my head off for being in HER lobby , then proceeded

to TRY to chew me out because someone was a NO-Show and she got stuck covering :angrygirl:, Told me too wait until she counted her drawer , then proclaimed I would be LUCKY if our room was ready before 4:30 pm o_O:mad:..

I just marched out and went to open Tundy's door... Con can tell when I'm pi$$ed the FU#h off and quickly locked the dam door :p She then said if you got that "bad vibe" now , what you going to do when the room isn't Perfect...(.47 years with one woman, she just MIGHT understand you )

Luckily in todays world you can cancel right up to 4 PM and while I did that ,My Bride found us another room in town

Now , I can be pissed off at that clerk for all of it and throw her under the bus OR when the Corp Dudes send an E-mail asking WTF... I blast them for stupid pay and not having trained their people to "handle :crapstorm: "

Rant over..... this was the only blip of a great weekend , I will take it :hattip:

Freaking idiot of an employee of mine had the odacity to steal money out of a coworkers truck (a first gen non the less). We didn't have the evidence on camera at the time so fast forward to the next day a Saturday, another customer states his 9mm is missing out of his 2nd gen trundra...

    OH HELL NO!

This MF had the balls to say he needed to take something to his car earlier. We got him this time. Walked back with the sheriff officer and came back with a sig 9mm and the MF in cuffs...
The appitamy of a dumb ass... he should have been hauled off in a body bag... he had just start working two days prior to that.

How about the fact that Toyota KNOWS we don't want chrome inside, but does it anyway. It's kinda like GM with piano black plastics everywhere. They know, they just don't care.

This is from toyota.com build & price for a Tacoma Pro. Look around the air vents. Look at the door handles. Look right behind the shifter where the cupholder/cubby is. Nothing. No chrome. It's not a rendering issue either, because they got the chrome emblem on the steering wheel, and rings on the 4x4 switch and Start button to show up just fine. I can't help but think it's an intentional removal for marketing.

For contrast, here's a photo from a TRD Pro Tacoma's interior. Chrome vent rings, handles, and around the cupholder/cubby.

    upload_2022-11-20_22-58-36.jpg

To clarify, I'm not mad that they put chrome in the truck. They are slow to change and it used to mean high end, or luxury, or something like that. That's totally fine, and I probably won't bother dechroming the interior of mine. What is making me not happy is that they are intentionally hiding the majority of the chrome on one of the tools that most buyers will use to view the vehicle.

WTF the matter with you  :devil::devil::devil:

You dare to show a truck with a 3rd pedal and a stick shift that actually needs to be moved constantly by human hands when 3/4 of the populous would not have a clue "How To" :notsure:

Manual transmissions account for less than 5% of cars sold. I’d venture to say more than 5% of drivers can operate a manual. By my figuring, the number of people who can drive a stick shift needs to be cut down, not increased. Flooding the market with people capable of driving one is a recipe for catastrophe.

This seems to be an all too common occurrence when shopping with the wife. It's especially common now that she's in a wheelchair from a broken femur. It goes like this "Can you grab a coffee creamer? What flavor would you like? Oh, I don't care, grab anything." So, I pick up her favorite Italian Sweet Cream. "No. I don't want that one." I take it back and we don't get any coffee creamer today. It's been 5 weeks that I've been caring for her and the dog with no breaks so it's time she went without creamer for a while. Maybe she'll learn a lesson. Yeah, right. My punishment is due any minute now.:eek2::rofl:

No, punishment will be some time after she heals. Women probably invented the old Italian proverb: "Revenge is a dish served cold by those who know."
