Hello all. New member. I've seen the earlier discussions of installing the 85532-08040 power plug. For rear USB power .I see there tapping into the power source of the charge plugs in the console. I have the plug Haven't taken anything apart yet, has anyone found the factory wire with connector . It may be taped to the harness back from the plug. In past discussion photo I see, has the harness for the 120 volt plug is there. I worked in Dealerships my whole career. Most mfg's make only one harness for there models. It's not cost effective to have 3 or 4 different harness's based on options. If there's a connector in the main harness . Normally there taped right on the harness . Sometimes there back away from what they plug into. Or possibly theres a small pig tail harness from the 85532, that plugs into a connector on the main console harness.

When I was looking into this mod, I went to my local dealership to speak with the accessories department and during that discussion I learned that Toyota actually has different wiring harnesses for different trim levels for the 3rd gen trucks. I guess they figure they're going to make their money on bundling packages in such a way that the consumer has to spend a fortune on a package to get a couple features but also gets a ton of other things he doesn't need. So, in short, there are no pigtails on the wiring harness that make this plug and play.
