I’m thinking about a leveling kit on my 2017 Limited Crew Max. I’m not interested in lifting it, I’m looking to even out the rake. I would like to level the front no more than maybe 2 inches. I keep getting differing opinions on whether it’s safe to do without changing other suspension parts. Could someone help me out? Do I need new control arms if I do that? Thanks for any help!

Look at the stickies in the suspension forum, guide to different types of lifts. 2 inch lift in front will level the truck. at 2 inch lift, no need for additional parts, stock UCA, LCA are fine.

cheapest are spacer lifts, pro is cheap and extra height, con is they mess with the suspension geometry some, dont use this method if you offroad the truck.

Most try to go with a lifted coilover, more robust, generally ride better than spacer, controls heavier/larger tires better.

If you have a limited (no sport or OR package) then you have the black toyota shocks. Those are marginal at best with stock tires.

So check out the suspension forum, tons of info, pics on setups, reviews, etc.

Awesome, thank you for the info. I will check out those forums you mentioned. I’m new to this and it’s hard to find what I’m looking for sometimes. I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure what the suspension is on my truck, I’ll have to look into it. Thanks for your response @frichco228

black shocks are standard, red/blue would be the sport package shocks, blue/yellow are the off road package shocks.
