Good morning, I just purchased a 2023 SR5 double cab 6.5 foot bed. I am looking to get some type of step for it. Interested in something simple, that is good quality and will last. Really only need something for the front doors. What do you guys recommend? Thanks very much.

I got Go Rhino Rb 10’s on mine. You adjust how far they stick out. Clean look, not tapered, and durable. I got the bed liner finish

I am pretty pleased with my GoRhino RB20's.

I decided to try these Iboards, At $255 I felt they were worth a look, and if I didn't like the quality, I could send them back to Amazon. I am however pleased with them. They are aluminum, with 3/16" steel brackets, four per side. Installation was pretty easy. They use existing threaded holes in the truck. No drilling. I undercoated the brackets after installation. I am pleased with the look, and they support my ample 300 pounds..IMG_20221115_103607605_HDR.jpg IMG_20221115_103621016_HDR (1).jpg

@Alex261: I didn't know that you can adjust how far they are out from the body of the truck. In your pictures are they in or out in their adjustment range? Also, some people have said that the bed liner finish will eventually collect dirt in it and look always dirty. Any comment on that? thanks.

I have them adjusted all the way in toward the truck. I wanted as much of my weight being carried by the brackets as possible. They also adjust fore and aft. I may fine tune that. As far as showing dirt, I did notice my foot print on it. But time will tell how much of an issue that will be. I feel they are pretty decent at that price.

Mine are pretty much all the way in. The bracket that mounts to the truck allows a little bit of adjustment and the brackets that the boards are attached to also allow a little adjustment, so yes you can definitely fine tune them to where you’d like. Also for what it’s worth, I originally bought the powder coat to save a little money and was told how durable they were. I had them for one week and sent them back and paid the difference for the rhino liner ones. They seemed like they would scratch easy and sure enough my wife’s sandy sandle scratched them pretty good the first week. There was no way, muddy, or salty, or sandy shoes would not hack them up in time. I really like the finished ones better and they look better too.

I've had the basically the same iboards for about 2 years in the crew max length, they've worked well so far.

@wayne73: how much below the running board do the brackets extend? I'm concerned about reducing ground clearance. Actually, I'd like to know what the ground clearance is below the running board and the bracket if that's easy to measure ;) thanks.

The cast aluminum TRD / OEM boards are always pretty solid - had them on my last Taco and they were great (despite occasionally banging my shins).
I'm running the OE rock rails on my Tundra and love them (but they're DEFINITELY not a step).

With the new program Toyota announced at SEMA, it looks like they offer Go Rhino on their website
