What's the ride quality like on the ICON? I have never used them. I have the wescott 3/1 want to upgrade to something better next spring. I'm most interested in ride quality as 90% of the time its my daily driver. Possibly would like to go a touch higher to a true 3" lift. I also talked to a dobinson retailer they said they were looking at January to have a kit out don't know much about them either.

Did they mention the spring rate on that spring? Is it higher or lower than the 167’s?

This is good to know. I've been curious how the OMEs compare to the Dobinsons. I went progressive OMEs that range from 240lbs at the top end to 300lbs on the bottom end.

 I feel you. I kept one Pittsburgh jack as a backup. I do like their Daytona jacks though...the Snap On knockoffs. Got 2 of those and they've been pretty solid for me.

In all seriousness...how did the UCA install go on the DS? You have to remove the air box & ECU, don't you? I'm always worried about fiddling with the ECU.

If you’re doing it all at once. Make sure you do the UCAs first, before the coilovers. I made the mistake on the passenger side to do the UCAs after the coilovers and had issues getting it all back together.

The air box is just pulls out. No fasteners. The connections from the cables to the ECU are VERY robust so I’m not worried about how it was removed.

also, compared to how you swap UCAs on a tacoma, this was nothing.

Air box is super easy to remove and you just have to loosen a few screws holding the ecu and harness. When I did my UCA's I never unplugged the ECU.

Need to get some better pics on level ground. I also plan on bumping the front coilovers up another .75 inches when I get a chance. The front is Currently set to about 1.75” of lift so there is some rake. The rear equated to about 3 inches of lift without any load in the bed. 25AC0B8D-F91D-417D-8FEA-EB04B7E162D2.jpg

Are these (c59-559v) stiffer than the OE that come with the TRD OR?

Looks like it gives you the 2” rear lift without spacers (unlike the TRD lift setup) but trying to figure out:
    1: Are they progressive?
    2: Are they stiffer?

to be honest I have no idea, I drove the truck stock for 500 miles, had it lifted at Adventure Motor Sports, then drove it another 2.5k miles home. The truck rode better than stock for me. Best bet is to call dobinsons and ask them, they are great and super helpful

Before I call Dobinsons, any known rear spring, preferable progressive, that adds 1” unloaded ride height? With 2” level in the front I don’t want to add more than 1” unloaded height in rear. Weight in box varies but I could use a higher capacity spring

My truck was pretty dang dialed with coil overs are 2.5in up front and the rear springs. I added a topper and decked system and that put me in reverse rake so I swapped the springs

I thought these might be a suspension lift but looks like they only announced 2 different spacer lifts in the vid. Bummer.

He mentioned 4.5” and 7 beginning next year. If it’s anything like previous gen then it will be a bracket lift with lower shock extensions.

My OR shop of choice is also an Elka dealer. They said Elka was close to releasing something to market. More options is always better.
