What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Dropped one no big deal it sits in the area doesn't go further magnet to remove.

Not sure about affecting fuel pump, but I typically get 32 gallons into my tank if I wait for the light to actually come on.

Yup, my company is closing down as the owner sold the building and my boss is great. We don’t have much work. 12/23 is our last day.

I remember when my factory was shutting down my boss paid me overtime to come in on a saturday to "keep an eye on the contractors" and I ended up installing a grille insert and removing my factory running boards lol

 

So they are making one the will just fit inside any topper?

I am retiring, certainly plenty old enough. I was going to start working only 3 days a week next year but not now, I just really like the guys I work with. That is the part I don't like. I do get 4 months severance pay, winter can be long in New Hampshire. My wife and I will probably visit our good friends in Florida.

They do not make one for the tundra with the softopper. The softopper option is only available in the "mid-size" for tacomas, etc.
Supposedly the full-size softopper version is coming first quarter '23

Finally got around to relocating my rear window switch and installing my front any time camera kit. Once I had it all pulled apart I realized I accidentally ordered the 2014-2019 kit

the plugs are different…

 

thank you for at least putting the switch in the correct, incorrect direction.
You will be happier with it in the now user friendly direction.

 

hahah this orientation was a must, also hit the switch with nail polish remover to take off the upside down “rear” lettering

 

did that work?

lots of members complain about the upside down lettering.

yet others don’t even have the lettering (like me). Must have been a gamble from Toyota.

 

yes it took the lettering off, it did cause some mild discoloration to the plastic though, but it’s not very noticeable.

 

Surprised nobody has made a 3D one yet.
