    Are you talking about your app controlling the wrong vehicle? Is that a common issue? About to buy a switchpro.

    It's open source bluetooth. They recommend a password to prevent others to login and control your unit. But a switch pro its much better than an spod. Had issues with the spod.

    By default all switch pro BT radios are named the same and have no password, like your home WiFI, come up with a meaningful name and memorable password for your controller and you're good to go...

    Buy a Switch Pro and don't look back...

    Planning to. Just hadn't heard about that before. Sounds like a non issue.

    It’s not common if you set a password. If you do not set a password, your SP may respond to commands from another SP unit’s controller.

    Communication from the control panel (switches) is done via serial communications and not via BT.

    I trust you are correct but I don’t know what that means. ;)

    I do know it has been “funny” on a couple of occasions, when camp buddies initiated a surprise light show using my truck.
