Well as y’all know I just buttoned up install of the chase lights and have had zero issues with my switch pro.

Apparently, I set a password and can’t remember what the hell I set it as lol. Anyone know of a reset for the system or password? Must be getting old since my bday is coming next week.

Sounds like you need to quit drinking!

You’d have to explicitly set password:

    14008699-85C6-4888-A9AA-73E63F78F643.jpg

And I think there isn’t a published way to reset/recover the password. Effectively pausing any app control or configuration via app. You’re still able to program via the controller (keypad), the majority of the functions though…

maybe SP will swap out the kit for you?

THis is from an earlier manual, may see something similar in yours.

In the event that your SP810 system needs to be reset, you may do so in one of the following ways: Press the Programming button four times quickly; Unplug the switch panel four-pin connector harness from the power module harness; or Momentarily disconnect the battery cable from the battery, then reconnect.

Have to. Last time I was at T2 S, my SwitchPro must have jumped onto someone else’s controller, then, probably because that person and I parted ways, I could not control the SP. I recommend you do actually set a password before playing in groups of others with the same.

I didn’t set a pw on mine but I believe it’s only a 4 digit passcode correct? If that’s the case shouldn’t take more than a few hours to crack it :benchpress:. Did a few different four digits back in the day lol

Grab a couple beers, open an excel spreadsheet and get to it lol

Lol yea I saw that hence my anxiety lol

I’ve unplugged the control panel no dice. Nothing in the 9100 manual about pushing 4 times quickly but I did see this on the S7 button. Do we think resetting to default includes passcode lol?

Ok, so there's way to reset your unit. I'm fresh off the phone with them and these are the steps below. I haven't tried it but will here soon when I'm not in work meetings.

    May require 2 people
Unplug the communication cable either from the unit in the engine bay or the key panel
Press and hold switches 2,4,6 and while holding plug the comms cable back in.
The panel will then go through a color mode indication of reset
The panel should have no password
