I rented a trailer and mini excavator 2 weeks ago. After returning it, my turn signal on the right front went out. I installed 2 new ones up front, but that is not the problem. The DRL should be on when the lights are off, but the left is on and right is off. When the lights are on, DRL should be off. The right side DRL is on when the lights are on. The turn signal doesn't work regardless of lights on or off. I'd hate to take it in to a dealer/shop if this is an easy fix, but I'm stumped and electrically illiterate!

First thing I would check is all the bulbs, all signal bulbs front and rear and also both DRL bulbs, betting you have one or more out. Perhaps that trailer wiring had some issue and cause some bulbs to short. I would probably also check any related fuses, just in case, under hood and dash.

If all the bulbs check out, will probably be time to start checking associated wiring for a break, short, melt, etc.

The rear is aftermarket and I believe it's all LED, and works normal. The turn signal bulbs also serve as the DRL. I haven't checked other bulbs yet but will today. It's very odd and I'm hoping it's not a short. It might be very hard to track down if that's the case.

Make sure the bulb is a 4157NAK (what your manual calls for), my 2014 used 3157CK, currently since I upgraded to OEM LED headlights and I run a 7440 LED
    It's a dual filament bulb.

Do the front flashers work with the hazards on?
It's separate circuit from the left and right turn signals.

My 2014 DRLs work like this:
The engine on, the headlights off - DRL is bright and flashes on and off for the turn signal.
Parking and/or headlights on - DRL is dim and flashes bright then dim for a turn signal

And as @frichco228 mentioned check your fuses.
There si a box under the hood and a small bow way up under the dash by the parking brake.

So the new bulbs were led. The headlights were converted and I wasn't sure about the turn signals when I bought the led ones. They didn't have the regular bulbs in stock. The leds showed the same issues as the regular that were in the truck.

I re installed the old ones and the problems are now all gone. Not sure what happened, but it's working now. Very strange.

    That's good.
So you did the OEM LED upgrade?

No, the turn signals are the original non led. The previous owner converted the high/low beams though.

Can I jump in on this for help? I've searched so many places but mostly get TACO results. lol
I'm having similar issues. My DRL's burnt out (clear bulb) parts shop gave me an amber bulb (OEM recommended), it worked for a couple days then started hyper flashing and eventually stopped working. I did some research and bought 3157 clear bulb online - same results, works, hyper flash then stops working. The bulbs are not burnt out as they irregularly start working with normal operation. I have not tried 3157ck which all I'm finding are 3157ck LED... I do have LED fog light bulbs in but I put those in a year before this issue; seems odd to take so long for issues to arise. No resistors installed, I just put LED fog bulbs in? Could this be it?
    It's on a 2014 CM trd sport.
I would love to convert to LED's. If it is caused by lack of resistors, What should I get?
