If she’s short wouldn’t some drop down steps be better?

or is the high and tight steps a compromise?

Nice I was looking at these also. Have you noticed any warping I was worried about that with aluminum boards.

During the time I had them I didn't have any issues with warping besides when I bent the driver side a little after hitting a log.

I love my AMP steps. A little pricey but I will buy them for every vehicle I get here on forward. But I didn't use the lights included, I bought some marine led strip from Amazon and wired that instead.
This is as hidden as it gets.

RCI sliders, top plate rear kickout.

After putting these on, I won't buy steps or need bars again. They were worth the extra $.

They sit tight. Wife approved. Dog safe.

I second the iBoards. I've got the same ones and haven't had any issues. They fit close to the body and have a clean look. Price was good too.

Go Rhinos. Got mine in the powder coat and had them squirted at LineX and top coated with paint. Very happy with them. I like that they stick out and are not flush because they protect my doors from the doors of others

I have Go Rhino Dominator DDS Sliders. I wanted them tight to the truck as well...happy with them thus far. I had bigger steps and swapped them out for these.

Hey, @NorcalHntr - if you decide to go with steps for additional height assistance, watch out for the open style steps. I’ve not seen but heard horror stories of canine paws getting stuck upon entry… by your username, I’d assume you have some pups.

Is install of Nfab steps as easy as Nfab claims? I'm considering these for my '21 DC, but thought I read that install was a bit of a headache. Vague recollection at best though.

It's as easy as removing the factory bolts from the holes and installing the new ones.

From what I read the amp research steps can have problems in the colder climates. Snow and ice can freeze up the motor’s. It could be an isolated incident. Something else to think about is what kinda off roading you do, if any.

Agree, during winter either they don't come down all the way or close...ice, hinges, etc...during one stretch I got them both down and pulled the fuse until I was able to thaw and free them up..

Anyway you could post a picture or two with the doors open showing how these function as a step? About to pull the trigger on them but would nice to see how much the poke for a step.

Westin Sure Grip--black or silver, closest to OEM that you'll find imho, and they are reasonable--can be found in the $300's. These are boards, not some round pipe or cheese grater, they are a functioning, protective, powder-coated stainless board.

And they mount securely in factory tapped locations, no sheet metal screw crap.
No gap between the board and rocker, Westin provides a nice poly gap-filler sleeve.
