That's the one that made me say fuck it. I put a brand new battery in it and drove around a few hours. Went out the next day and it was completley dead. I got hit up on messenger all day yesterday. Not a peep today.

32 degrees Fahrenheit is freezing temperature. Anything below that is nature's sarcasm. You're talkin bout singles digits.... what, are we barbarians? anybody that can name that reference gets 2 gold star cool points
I heard they were supposed to film Step Brothers 2 in my town, and had just put out an ad for locals to be extras when C19 hit the press. Never heard a word about it since. THAT is one of the few movies that could pull off a sequal equally as awesome as the first. Might just be my optimism. We may never know now. Thanx alot china bat stew disease.

Yep.. 'unrealistic' pretty much nails it
See, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think the Landcruiser wears it well. It's not far from what a new Landcruiser would be expected to look like. That Tundravalanche mishap looks a bit ridiculous in that same fashion, IMO
controlled substance possession charges were dropped to citable misdemeanors several years ago over here. Distribution is still a felony

We had a stretch a few years ago when it didn't get above -5 for about 2 weeks, lowest I saw was -23. It was miserable, I find as I get older anything below 20 make me pretty unhappy.

No one should be disappointed they don't have Lone Star

Lake effect is very dependent on wind direction. A few years ago Erie got 53 inches starting Christmas Eve through Christmas day, I'm about 20 miles south and got 6 inches in the same time period. Usually it's the opposite usually under 6 inches along the lakeshore and I get 15.

I've never seen it that low for any period of time around here. If I lived in such a climate, I'd opt for an engine block heater since it'll probably put 5 years wear or more on the starter in a single winter.

It's not a normal thing for here, typically doesn't stay below 20 for any extended periods. Maybe once a winter we'll see under 0.

All my fluids are pretty much good. I think the only one I haven't done yet is xfer case. I was looking for some updates on the slider thread from bashfab. I'll probably go with those and a skidrow trans plate. Long tubes are probably out, as that sounds like more work than it's worth, so probably a header back setup. After seeing that y-pipe it's gotta go.

I was thinking @bmf4069 should cruise through some neighborhoods playing gregorian chant music on his two 15" subwoofers.

It'll turn some heads and make people go "wtf??".

    You got me beat, @Mr.beer

Most of this was due to women in my life, or road trips. Lots of road trips FL to NY for tournaments, FL to WV and UT for snowboarding, family road trips from CA to FL, TX to FL, etc. to see other family...

I've got some work to do out west. There are states in the Northeast I would have gladly skipped. NJ is a dump. I want to see NH and ME.

Pretty sure I visited Iowa and Missouri as a kid but I don't remember them so I didn't count those.

NH and VT are both worth checking out, honestly. Not only for the history, but some great hikes, excellent breweries.

I will say. I can enjoy Maine, it and its people are unique, several are more backwoods than anyone in my family and I've got some serious swamp rats in my kin. I've got a few friends up there and visited several times. Don't recommend going during winter. I'm particular to Bristol b/c that's where I've been the most, we stay at a friend's house near Pemaquid Harbor every few years. There's a seafood co-op down there less than 1/4 mile from it, Pemaquid Seafood, pretty awesome. Although I got wicked food poisoning from a steamer there 10ish years ago. Way more poison ivy up there, everywhere, than I expected. Gotta keep eyes peeled on hikes, especially near the ocean.

used to ride to mexico with my grandparents to pick up cheap 'meds' for grandma. Down through laredo, and back up through matamoros or whatever and corpus.

roadtripped through big bend and the grand canyon on those trips, too. And padre island and aransas pass. They always let me be navigator in the front seat, looking for attraction maps at gas stations and restraunts.

I know a couple people from Texas that haven't left their county, nevermind the state. :D

    Truthfully, I can't see how that's possible.

Also, your plane layover in another state doesn't really count.

Texas is huge so I'm sure there is a lot to see. I still like seeing new places though. My friend just posted from the Badlands. She's officially been to the entire lower 48. I'm jealous.

When I lived in the desert hot didn't start until 101F
When I lived up north, cold started at -1F.
You get used to where you live.
Now I'm up country over a sound. Moderate mostly.

I did learn something interesting over the last 2 days - I like cars/trucks that sound like boats.

Anyone else move too much. Been a couple times I'm grabbing my stuff to go to a restaurant I have a hankering for & stop short at the door realizing that restaurant is in a previous state. LOL, whoops.

Anyone been to Tito's Taco's in Rhode Island?
