Recently bought a 2014 SR5. Previous owner installed an overhead dvd player. Even though it screwed into the bracket the numb nuts screwed it into the headliner. Now if I want to remove it there are indentations and screw holes in the headliner. Are there any aftermarket super sized dome lights that will fit? Anyone else find a solution for this issue?

Back in the day, we would take a piece of foam board, and use headliner spray to a piece of headliner match material. You can always attach and drill any size dome light to the "New piece of headliner."

Like the attached, but nicer and with more effort.

As you can see…. The hole is still the same size as the stock dome light. But the way they did the install, they effed up the headliner around it. Ideally I would find something 10 x 11 or so to cover up the indentations and screw holes.

If the DVD player is bad just replace it. Even if you don't use it, it's still better looking than a patch

Only, you and I know the hole is smaller than the actual patch plate you would install.
