I had Weathertech liners in my old 4Runner and the wife has Husky liners in her Ford. I definitely prefer the Huskys.

    None. Just bought.
I personally prefer the Husky because of the way they come up and over the sides of the door threshold. On my Tacoma, they always stayed down with no curling. My Toyota Dealer Service Manager told me a lot of the Weathertechs seem to lift or curl up a bit and they hit them with their foot getting in at times. I don’t know, but I’ve had great luck with the Husky’s so I’m going Husky.

I have the Weathertechs in my Tundra. They were included in the truck sale. I had the Huskys for around 40k miles in the '19 F250 I traded out of. The Huskys seem to be more robust in the material they are made of and were like new when I got rid of the truck. I considered trying to sell them but didn't feel like doing the work. I would have purchased them as soon as available if the truck hadn't come with the truck. If buying new I would recommend the Huskys over Weathertech.

Are the husky mats the same for both 22 and 23 models?

What is weird is the best luck I have had in all 3 of my tundras were the factory Toyota ones. My weather techs curled up on both my previous tundra and the wife’s explorer at the time.
Yet same story on her current rx350, factory Lexus ones seem the best

Yes. There should not be any difference between 22 and 23

I have never seen Weathertechs that did not curl up. We used to put them in our work trucks. Then they started using Husky and they are light years ahead. I think Weathertech is overrated.

But to your point, my truck came with OEM all weather mats, as part of the negotiations, and I am satisfied with them. I don't see any reason to replace them with Husky at this point.

Folks, I apologize but have not read all 65 ages of this thread. Can anyone confirm if the dealer can install the OEM power running boards and bed step? I don't know why they wouldn't be able to but am getting mixed signals. Thx.

That's what I was afraid of. Unfortunately, I changed my mind on the first truck (was 4x2 and waited for a 4x4) but the 4x4 does not have the factory installed Power Running boards. There are no aftermarket options available yet that I am aware of either.

Theres a few out there, I think even yota garage has one.

Does anyone have a promo code for huskys floor mats? - Mostly asking to see if anyone is an affiliate and has their own promo code. Ratehr use that than this "Kristen baker" code that Honey is trying to use

Just got mine and installed this afternoon after work. Quick and simple, seem like a decent quality plastic. For the back guards, I had to make the holes where the plastic push-in grommets go a little larger and make sure those same grommets lined up correctly with the existing holes. Once I figured that out, installation took only a couple of minutes per corner. Mine came with screws but I just re-used the existing screws. Pics below.

First mods on new SR5 TRD include LED tail light strip above bumper, combo bak mx4 & truxedo Elevate FS Rack & T-slot rails. Combo looses the stock bed rails due to not being able to use the MX4 hardware. I made some parts to drop the MX4 hardware to keep the bed rails. Also drilled holes in Elevate FS rack to enable a height in line with the top of the cab so the truck would still clear my garage door. All good, happy with the functionality.

Are we all in [sad] agreement that unless you're being pulled by a turtle, the hooks are but a red ornament?
(unless you're looking for a quick and easy way to disassemble you're entire front end)

It is unfortunate isn't it? I expect many will be looking for a replacement bumper design that will work with tow hooks and probably a winch too. I don't really need a winch, but functional tow hooks would probably be a good thing.

At this point it’s a better than nothing for me. But I do recall my 2000 Tundra didn’t have any either :notsure::notsure:

Getting our 1794 TRD in a few weeks and wondering what the consensus is on running boards that do not impact ground clearance (in the middle of side of truck) much or at all? Thanks.

I’ve only had for a couple days and put roughly 50miles but love it!! Huge difference between my 2015 SR5. Fit and finish it much improved.
    I’ve added the following:
    -Rough Country level
    -Open Country III 285/65/20
    - Borla 1” spacer
    - Retrax PRO cover
on order, TRD Black chrome exhaust tip, TRD air filter, bed step, and bed mat. I also ordered Husky liners.
Going on a family run tomorrow, local diner breakfast and to check out the ski mountain for upcoming season, should be a fun drive!
