Is anyone familiar with how to turn off these notifications? I was driving while it was snowing and mid way through the drive it accumulated enough ice up front that this thing would not disappear to the point where it was more of a danger by beeping and taking up my cluster.

There is not much you can do You get that front sensor dirty and you have no cruise control or anything that is related on any way to that sensor.

I bet hitting that sensor with something like rainx or something like that would keep it from getting covered by snow/ice

First snow hit today and same thing happened. Definitely annoying and not sure how to prevent it other than regularly cleaning the sensors

It happens when we get a hard frost. The alerts light up until the engine heats warms up the sensor.

Snow you have to clean it off.

    My 2019 was like that.

Same boat. Unfortunately its just something we have to deal with in certain parts of the country. The other is the automatic fold in of the side mirrors...turn the 'Auto Fold In' off in the winter when you start/stop your truck because when you go to start up if they are frozen, they are stuck in.

The truck is ceramic coated, and the stuff glides off, but it was a mixture of rain and snow and eventually, it froze.

I'll be trying the following and hopefully that helps it.

I had this happen over the weekend. Haven't had time to look into it but hoping there is a way to turn off the 'warnings' that incessantly pop up and obnoxiously block the center of the console so you cant utilize any of the other information you see there until you can stop and clean the sensors. Seems like once the warning has been posted and you press the 'return / back' button it should not come up again, or at least be a displayed in a way so that it's not blocking other things. My wife and I were joking about it... 'OK, we get it, the sensor is obstructed, now can I see how fast I'm going or how cold it is outside please?' There's not always a good place to stop and clean the sensors in a blizzard and who the hell want's to?

suggest you use rain-x on your sensors for winter time, works well for our ND winters.

Nope. The sensors the OP is referencing are only for parking. They have nothing to do with collision avoidance or cruise control. Also, when the cruise sensor is dirty it only disables radar cruise. Press and hold the on/off button for the cruise to turn on regular cruise and it will work like old school cruise to hold speed.

Makes sense. We film a lot in snow and water with gopros and we use rainX to keep moisture from staying on the camera's lens so this would be a similar application. Thanks for the suggestion.
