Just some homemade redneckery engineering with some brackets from Lowe’s…sorry for the the dark pic Jim, just took it; glad I did, need to look at replacing those cheap carbon chinese t-slot nuts with some aluminum or stainless ones…

Yeah I hear you. I have had to use my rear lights a few times because the idiots behind me were way too close. If I turn my rear camera on and you are close to the guidelines, that is way too close. If you think it's bad there, these people in FL are worse. I'm originally from Myrtle Beach.

Front is a little stiff, it does have a 600 lb. spring in it after all. But it might also be because the of the nitrogen in the reservoir might be higher than the factory setting. In our haste to put the front shocks in we let the nitrogen out while forgetting to get a baseline setting first. D'OH!

The real test comes in a few weeks when I'm down in Baja for the 1000. Give it a proper break-in.

Old Land Rover Discovery's had red "fog" lights in the rear bumper with a dash switch...., came in hand once in a while and looked just like extra bright brake lights (allegedly......)..... Might have used them once or twice..??

I picked up a TruXedo Pro x15 from Amazon, it was on sale. I installed which wasn't bad, but had to flip my Rockymounts upside-down so that they would work with the tonneau.

Overall the cover looks pretty decent however it is a bitch to close and is not as water tight as I would have hoped (we had a ton or rain yesterday). I suppose it is better than nothing however I have a bit of buyers remorse. At least it wasn't full price and I could use points to get it for "free".

I centered my dash mount a little better. Not perfect, but better. Tearing everything apart to get to the bolts is a bit intimidating. But not bad. I used tape to hold the bolt to socket for the back stereo bolts. 5724F01B-C878-48F8-827F-F172F6E79416.jpg91F44B4D-1BCB-4A7F-9773-9B0B2BC431E9.jpg981BCEEF-DF22-4313-8E29-7E128348CA33.jpg

These trucks are pre-wired for the different trims and options. I don't remember what that plug is for but it might be for the glass breakage sensor.

Check the build link in my signature.
That’s for the glass break sensor/mic.
You can buy a kit with it and the glass break ECU, then turn on the system via Techstream. If you don’t have the hood latch sensor you either have to add that too or jumper it.
