Valhalla’s Shield theft deterrent/skid plates info and ordering post

I'm sure that's not the only one. I wouldn't buy a used one of those for the same reason I wouldn't buy a used Raptor!

 

Sorry you had a bad experience. Mine:

Ordered front skid plate in late August. Got billed right away. I sent an email saying I know you are backed up, what is lead time? Response, 8 weeks. Life has moved fast and time has flown by. With the kerfuffle this week, I realized 8 weeks had passed.

So, I messaged this week and the response was next batch, give me two weeks. Cool.

Now, I have no reason to doubt it will be here in a few weeks. Likely will not flame in front of everyone if it isn’t. If we go into December I might cancel the order and ask for a refund, we will see.

At this point, all of my expectations of supporting a small business owner and member of the community (that nearly burned his shop to the ground in the interim) has gone as I thought it would.

Too much drama in this world for me to get upset over this.

Anyway, that is my experience for those following along.

I was just wondering what a police officer thinks when he has to visibly sit a road to help remind people to slow down, and someone who thinks their Civic with loud pipes should be immune to speed limit signs blows by him 20 miles an hour over the speed limit. It's a thankless job, I'm sure...

I don't know about anyone else but I don't think I want high school kids packing my cat plates. Don't have a lot of faith in some of the younger generation. Sorry, but get off my grass!!! Tyler packs plates almost bullet-proof and they arrive in great shape. I hope everyone gets their panties out of a wad and remembers that Valhalla is a one-person operation. Period. Is it going to take a while to get your plates? Yes. Are they worth the wait? Yes. I used to be a member of this forum, under a different user ID, and quit for a period due to all the pissing and whining going on. I just got tired of it. I re-joined because I missed the good folks on the forum who pass along great info and help for others. If you order cat shields from Tyler, it will take a while to get them. If you can wait, great. If you can't wait, place an order with someone else. I probably shouldn't drink my Bulleit Burbon and post, but, it is what it is.
