Extended Warranty

I was told the same by my dealer. I said I was happy to purchase from them if they could match it. They couldn’t. So I bought from the contacts provided by TBS. Super easy process and the contacts were very helpful.

 

I got information on rates back in June. If they have changed can I trouble you for the current information please. Picking up my Platinum tomorrow!

Any dealer saying they can’t match is lying they just don’t want to. It cost them nothing it’s from Toyota they only make money on the mark up they choose to charge. My dealer saw the sheet said he had to make something and charged me $50 over the cost on the worksheet after originally quoting me 4k which was a $2500 markup.

 

If you got info back in June you should contact the POC's and get an updated Quote. I am sure they will give you the latest. Don't let the finance manager try and pressure you saying it has to be purchased when you pick up the truck. You have some time to shop around and get the best deal before your initial factory warranty expires.

 

Declined mine as well — they offered $3100. The prices you all are getting are incredible lol. How can I get one somewhere in that sub 2k range? I’m a little late to this party, do they even exist today?

Just picked up 1794 hybrid. Finance guy said he will sell me Toyota platinum warranty. Got home and it says fidelity. Gonna call him and cancel(it was bought from afar and he talked over phone). . TBS can you pM info on warranty. Thanks!

I bought a new Tundra yesterday and the dealer offered me the Platinum 6 year/100000 for $1700 so I went ahead and did it. I didn't check around a lot, but thought it sounded reasonable. I will almost certainly be over 100k in 6 years so the extra years wouldn't really have helped me.

 

I sent you some info. If you find a better deal you can canx the first then buy the cheaper deal. Normally you have 30 days to canx and get all your purchase price back.

 

Does anyone know if the pricing is different for the hybrids?
