I thought I took pics, but I can't find them. I'll look some more for the pics. It's pretty straight forward once you start looking at it. I used a nylon spacer to create another pin (I'll get the size later). I located it 9mm from the outer ridge around the original pin, which is left in place. Since our ports are oval, not round, I had to grind the top & bottom of the plastic bezel. I had to remove more from the bottom edge, possibly if you mounted the new pin below the centerline of the sides, less grinding would be required. I also had to slightly file the square hole for the adjuster. There is a gap on the sides which I haven't addressed yet, but it doesn't really bother me.

Some dude on YT 3d printed some and made it work. I don't know if they are the same as blanks though. I'd like to have better fogs but if it's gonna be a deal where I have to have it 3d printed I'll pass. Have enough projects going on..

Looks good. I have wheel envy at the moment. Been talking to the guy at FN wheels the last few days. Really close to blowing some money..shit adds up. New wheels, tpms sensors, mount and balance...I guess buy once cry once?

Whelp I went to get my inspection done. They told me nope. Some BS about my headlights. I have retrofitted projectors. I painted the reflector and projector shroud black. Apparently this is not kosher. Also he told me I couldn't have LED lights. Moron. I have HID bulbs in my projectors. Stupid inspections. Dammitt. Now because it's in the system, I have to "fix" them by putting cheap chrome halogens in before another shop will pass me. Pfft, my retrofits work way better than the stock halogen setup.

Also my stupid check engine light came back on and lo and behold 1442, 1445, and 2441 again. Dammitt. Guess I'm gonna have to go with the Hewitt kit this time.

The needed modifications to the kit I got were fairly minor. The first one took about 45 min to figure out, the second one was 10-15 min.

I found a local place that I was able to get 4 for $900 ($225 ea) instead of the $330-$350 ea most places are charging. I have several sets of 4Runner/FJ Cruiser wheels that I'll be selling to offset the price of these wheels.

I geeked out a bit recently & built out a section of my truck bed camping build. Lots more to come...
Pull out drawer with access from the inside & adjustable compartments. Stove section with additional pullout cutting board / utensil storage. Side "dump bins". And my favorite part, my removable tool box. I got a little carried away & now I'm conflicted. I don't want to actually put tools in it...

Awesome. I'm probably going the FNW route. Guy is super helpful and it's not that much more. My lift sorta dictates what I buy. And I'm not trying to do it wrong. Just trying to keep current tires and have quality wheels that don't cause me probs centering and what not

I have skinny 35s on my tundra, with minimal trimming and clearance done. its not that hard to fit with the right offset wheels

I look at my truck and wonder how I could fit anything larger than 33s even if leveled since the front-to-back length of my wheel arch is no greater than 33 in. on my fender.

What’s your definition of “fit”? I want some pics of those tires stuffed before you say they “fit”.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the fluid looks like it’s only down an inch from the hole. I’ll know later when I take it elsewhere to change it. Don’t want the neighbors seeing me. :spy:

    Maintenance day.

    -Air filter in both vehicles
-Seafoam in crankcase on the Tundra

I'll change the oil in 300 miles or less. I mentioned it in the other threads but Wal-Mart has good prices on Mobil 1 right now.

I think I got close to 500m on my last go-round with Seafoam high mileage in my crankcase. But I've got a little more going on in mine than yours, I'm sure. I need to pope my filler neck off soon and look at how much less (I hope) varnish there is, or how much lighter in color it is after 1 treatment and 500 miles of running.
