Yes, they have sharp points on the end, you just push them up between the rafters and they dig in.

Will look into them. Locally though not seeing any options for the size I need and I don't have patience for shipping lately. Thanks for the tip!

2 hours to do 9 batts....only 99 more to lay lol. Think I'll spend the day tomorrow building a work platform because laying stretched across those rafters on my back is brutally slow. Also broke down and purchased a cordless Ridgid stapler because that Powershot proned out like that is for the birds.

Hire it out, I paid local insulation group to do my shed and it cost less than the material would have cost me. They had it knocked out by lunch time.

The quote I got was double the price of materials due to the size. 1400sq ft (overhang added) and it's 20 feet up in the air :(

Ended up tracing the vinyl and then painting the letters by hand. Took me a bit and had to go back for another coat but it’s done. Need to hang doors tomorrow and make some closet jambs

An update on my solar panel installation. It all went well for a few days until the Power Utility came an did a hot swap with their power meter. So much for powering down systems. Idiots! Anyways, they fried the controller board and blew a couple circuits that could not be reset that day. By the next morning they could be reset and power on, but as mentioned the Arc fried the electrical controller.
That was last Thursday. Friday the tech came out to troubleshoot and found the fried board. Monday another tech came out and replaced the part and checked it out. Since it was Halloween, he took off as it was getting late and he has a son to take out. The original tech came Tuesday and did the software updates that took a couple hours. Well, it looks like it’s running again. We actually put some power back into the grid today.
    Fried board.

Finished up the gym enough to workout in it. Added some battle ropes, spin bike and a few dumbbells. It ain’t much but it will work for me and the wife.

Did your pads come with the filler? As in one block can be fully wrapped (if that makes sense?) I took those and used it against the edges and cut as needed to it all looks as complete pieces

No, unfortunately mine didn’t. I’ve thought about buying them but haven’t looked to hard for them. I got about 150sq ft of that flooring (5/8”) for $125 so I’m happy without the edge pieces for now. May still do that comercial rubber baseboard in this room

Finally sealed the 1/4" gap on my detached and burned about 13 wheelbarrow-full worth of leaves. I don't know if it's legal or not in this county to open burn, but it was fun.

Started what should be a fun and exciting project at the kids school.
Probably using to small of a saw, but the south cut seemed to do fine, then I ran out of gas, so I got a tall boy and went back to town, except the blade wasn’t cutting at all now. I need to saw cut maybe 25-30’ of concrete 2’ wide to replace that section of clay pipe that has roots galore at each joint(confirmed today with a camera)
So tomorrow I’ll get another blade and see if they made any progress with what I tried to leave them(I don’t think they realize what they are getting into with “helping”) 1B882E0A-123E-43B0-B10C-111FBC6F0BCA.jpg78EBC05C-94B9-4B46-9C6D-765F7CE78FE3.jpg38FB9A4C-1A0B-4E39-8F29-2C561DF64065.jpg

Progress came to a halt with the rain storm and high winds last weekend. The landscapers decided to take a day off due to the storm. I think they are a little behind due to delay and weather. Now are starting on another job and get that one going so they can feee up some time for a couple guys to finish the pavers, dirt for grass, etc. I think waiting for it to dry off a little. I’m so ready for this to be done. 31F0B0F9-D342-4938-ACD2-A9C8762E644B.jpg6CC811C8-3668-4412-A66A-FC44BE69E3BB.jpg39173F1A-4D1A-4039-AC6A-2F397CFA3998.jpg

Sweet Moses I wish I had a hot tub! My back is killing me!
Got a new 12” blade for the wet saw, after searching around town most of the day, went back to homies to get the not so concrete specific blade. It did work, I recut all my old lines as deep as it would go, and also cut blocks out so it’s easier to remove hopefully. I have no idea what I’m doing but it sounded good in my head. I was hoping to replace the line over the weekend, but I doubt they will have it dig out by thursday(I forgot Friday was a holiday and I doubt anyone will be working on it) F399EF82-39A6-4E96-B282-531BD33A28E2.jpgI also forgot to take a material measurement, but I can swing by in the morning real quick and do it

There was a previous post on this thread where someone picked up a inflatable hot tub on sale for $500. They said it worked well.
