I also agree but I like it. It is a "safe" color. Might get sick of the Octane or LR.

My 2022 hasn't had one single quality control issue. I believe it was built in June and I'm a fully gruntled owner

Well, yea, that's what I meant. While driving it to the service department I hadn't noticed the wind noise. lmao

I just picked up my 23 trd sport today. Was somewhat of an impulse buy as I was intending to get a Tacoma. If anyone has questions I can help will I’ll try but I’m sure I’m going to have a ton myself. First Toyota I’ve owned since 2013 so it’s taking some getting used to.

Yes sir , I had a 3rd gen Tundra platinum for 6 months . I just got out of it , 5 recalls, parts on back order , it was never the same after they had to do a transmission swap out. Shortly after they replaced the rear differential. Needless to say toyota deemed it a lemon. ( true story) a 74k dollar lemon. Buttt.. I plan on getting another in 2 years after they work out the kinks. It was a bad ass truck fellas .. for my lifestyle in and out of the shop every other week is for the birds

I'd take an older build if it meant it wasn't subjected to 150 test drive rips. I treat a test drive almost like a rental car. No thanks.

Not since my early 20s, I work for ford now directly in service. Just pointing out, early builds typically have the most robust quality issues.
Some mfg more than others ;)

I just ordered a 2023 SR5 trim package. I live in Alberta Canada and am trying to find some steel rims for the winter. Pretty sure the tire size is 265 70 R18, just wondering if there is a difference between the 22 and 23 rims?

Well Toyota rates just went up to 4.29 so prepare for more money off. New car sales are about to slow

well that’s good news as far as possible price drops, current interest shows 3.49% ( last month).

I don't understand the wind noise a lot of people mention... this is the quietest vehicle I've ever had. Did people come from luxury SUV's or something? Also my bed doesn't rattle at all, and my console only rattles over significant washboards on gravel. Only rattle I have is a small one in the driver door with heavy bass songs.

not every truck has it, the one in test drive did, it sounds like a window is cracked open , it sucks if you get stuck with one

I came from a 2020 Tundra. My 2022 is wildly more noisy. Also 10 times more wind noise than our 2008 Sequoia. Seems to only affect some trucks. If you got a quiet one, be happy. It's pretty awful if you got a bad one.

What did you own before? I only ask because my CRV is quieter than my pro was.

I also subscribe to Car Confections on YT and my favorite than about their reviews is the sound level reading. And the Tundra Limited and capstone had some of the highest readings on their truck or large suv reviews. It was around 62db. when like an f150 platinum is 55db and Tahoe is 57db.

Last couple vehicles were Tacomas, last one was a 2017.
My Pro with 35's is quieter than my Tacoma with 33's, both wind noise and road noise.
I don't notice wind noise on the new truck at all.

just picked up 1794 hybrid . love it. although only on lot 3 days think its a 22. no wind. no issues. here in FL lost all my vehicles including my beloved 2010 platinum hurricane Ian. would have kept it another 10 yrs if it wasnt flooded. the 22 is a step up. my son who just got a bmw 440i loves driving my truck almost more than his car with a 6 speed. its harder to drive slow like my 2010. great torque and handling for large vehicle its hard to get good mpg cause i drive so fast..........i agree that the issues on the 22 are magnified on the internet . i had buyers remorse after reading all this but all good so far...also silver looks a lot brighter in person that online. really wanted this color so i wont spend hours cleaning it every wk....

interesting i looked at a capstone in miami and they wanted 30k over list. geez....

My TRD Pro came in as a 23. Got the V-Spec from the dealer on 10/5/2022 showing it was a 2023. Took delivery 10/20/2022. Don't know for sure what the 22's went for but it shows $68,520 for MSRP which is what I paid.

Is it just me or is that cheaper than everyone paid on here? My 23’ sticker shows 65k for a limited Trd hybrid
