I installed one a month or so back and loved it. No for some reason my phone just slides out so it's worthless. Anyone have a fix? Is there something I can put in the clip to give it more holding power? I love the idea and functionality but I can't use it like this.

I have one in my Altima. Send them an email, they're pretty good about warranty stuff.

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
I noticed heat can deform the plastic making it loose some grip

Did you loosen the screws to retighten it around the phone case? Otherwise I’d make a warranty claim. I’ve had mine for 3 years and it still works perfectly.

Mine did the same thing after about a month or so. I retightened the mount and so far, so god.

I'll try retightening. Are we talking the two screws on that are visible when looking at the holder?

Is the mount upside down, it’s got a little stop at the bottom that the phone rest on, tighten up the screw and it should grip more

Not upside down. Going to tighten screws this morning and see if that helps.

Doesn’t really specify on the website, but do you need to buy the device holder and mount separately, or do they come together?

They come together, just select your phone.

Mounts are device/case specific. I upgraded my phone and they won't do a pro-rated exchange. You will need to purchase a new one if you upgrade. The difference between my old and upgrade was minimal, so I was able to make it work. You do have to re-tighten over time, but it still works good.

Have had multiple Pro-Clip mounts and the only one we had issue with was for my wife’s, whose case had the gripper strips on the side and would loosen when she removed the phone….I had to tighten it about every two weeks.

the one in my tundra hasn’t been touched in three years…
