Man, I just boned up something I worked all weekend to fix. I probably put about 20 hours labor into something Fri/Sat/Sun, and with one click, *POOF*, all gone. And now I'm having to spend the next 3 hours just to recover to a point I can restart the entire process, which will set me back about 1 week of productivity.

Meh. I hate Mondays. Holy crap this sucks.

I actually admire the adults that still get into Halloween and have fun. If it gives people a little happiness and a distraction from all the B.S in day to day life then that's a good thing. I wish I was more creative when it comes to Halloween.

Boss is being cool about it, at least. We've all done that one stupid thing, I guess. Is it Friday yet?

Negative, and I have a 15 year old daughter.

I don't care if people enjoy themselves for Halloween and I'm not going to pretend there's not some interesting costumes, I just don't get the big deal that's made over it.

Nobody was dressed up this year on Zoom for Halloween. I guess a lot of people aren’t in the spirit of it.

I was behind this double cab earlier. Probably the 5th time I've seen this truck. He's got some sort of lift gate for a tailgate. Never seen anything like this on a Best Gen.

I think the creepiest thing for Halloween would be two parents and their daughter dressed as the killers from the movie “The Strangers”.

I think I would turn my light off if I saw them approach.

    More expensive gas.
That's definitely a good one, but is too in-the-spirit. Oh, and as much as I enjoy his music, Glenn is a short-statured flash in the pan

If going airborne, make sure the recipient doesn't open for 3-4 days after receipt. It's a known phenomenon that beer flown via plane tens to fall flat-ish if opened on arrival. I've experienced it firsthand numerous times being unable to wait, until I finally realized you can't do anything about it. At least, not that I've found.

Apparently, my neighborhood is back to Halloween Central. Good thing my team left work early; by the time I got home, creativity was required to park. My grumpy neighbor has made such a fuss in years past that we don’t bother with a wash basin fire in the driveway. Instead… all our neighbors do that, :p so we can take part… and we do a small charcoal grill in our driveway, cooking steaks, while we hand out candy.

When I bought this house years ago, this was one of those neighborhood kids use to *get bussed in* to, from all over the county. That passed and it was pretty mellow for several years, but now there’s a ton of kids from around the neighborhood. It started up before 6, droves of young teens… weird.

Hmn. Another new thing I just learned.

Apparently, on the Gen 1 “I acquired about a year ago” there isn’t any license plate mount. Just screwed into front body work below the grill? Is there no better option?

I thought there was a mount you could buy that tees off the black mesh in the lower bumper, in a more concealed way, but it's possible I'm thinking of our old 2012 Highlander.
