    Hello everybody!
I am currently in the process of selling my Tacoma and purchasing a 2017 CrewMax limited TRD off-road.
In a past life I had owned 2010 SR5 CrewMax so I am very familiar with these trucks. Loved the truck but life changed and I was needing something smaller, the truck was just too big for the places I needed it to go without damage.
The Tacoma has been amazing. It has done everything from towing a camper around the US, hunting, camping, fishing, off-roading and comuting. But life has once again changed and I now have a 1 year old a second baby on the way. Being 6'2, I can not physically drive the Tacoma with 2 car seats. My legs do not bend in the direction required to operated the pedals. I also now have a POS 4x4 that I use to beat on in the outdoors. Enter the Tundra!

Plans for the truck are pretty simple; do something about all that gaudy chrome and fight the urge to lift/mod it. It's the family hauler/camper tower and I would like to keep it as close to stock/reliable as possible.

Nice truck. Just needs a little chrome delete, Pro LED headlights, rear sway bar, new all weather floor mats front/rear, front ceramic tint, lift (you said it first), AT tires, and on and on and on.

Welcome and congratulations on the kids(and truck).

I also recently bought a Limited and I know a lot of people obsess about deleting the chrome. Personally I don't mind it and I would rather spend those funds on things that affect the trucks performance, capability or security. Like a topper, cat guards, 18" wheels etc...

    Best of luck to you!

Getting rid of the chrome is low on the priority list. I don't mind chrome accents, but feel like it is a little much on the front of the truck though

Not going to lie, I prefer a black grill and matching surrounds. But in the end I am cheap and will do everthing else first.

With the rising interest rates, high inflation and higher commodity prices, chrome delete is not allowed at this time unless you are 27 years old or younger :D

Only one of these is a certainty, and the other is a strong probability.

I've spent way more on modding my Tundra than any other truck I've owned. I, too, had a kid and while the modding went on a temporary lull, it has resumed in full.

Congrats on the Fundra! Welcome from TX.

Congrats on the family life and the truck!

I did the chrome delete on my 1794 and it was a huge difference.

Man...its so hard to decided if completely paint matched, or black grill trim would look better with my color
