I bought this Tundra SR new in 2017. I finally added a Toytec ultimate 3/1 suspension lift.

I first tried running the stock steel 8 inch wheels +60 offset with 275/70/r18 BF Goodrich AT K02s. It was pretty cool, but not what I wanted. 8712DE1F-37CD-421B-85E7-E69A106891D1.jpg

So I exchanged the tires for a set of 295/70/r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3w, wrapped around Method 18x9 inch MR701 wheels with a 25+ offset. Had to remove the front mud flaps but I’m looking for some aftermarket offset flaps to take their place. Really happy with this setup so far.

No, not at all. I think the weight kind of balanced out between the tire difference and the wheel difference. If anything it actually feels smoother and less resistant which I know sounds weird but sure feels that way. The wildpeaks also roll smoother and make less noise. My mpg is still exactly the same at 13.0.
