Yeah... Looks like they've made some changes to the case, etc. w/the Air since I last looked at them. I didn't like the "wedge" shape they used to have. Plus, I can get one w/the new M2 chip and upgraded memory from Costco for about $150 below Apple's pricing. They also have the MacBook Pro 14" w/M1 chip and same memory for $350 off.

Normally, I'd think the go to would be the newer tech in chip generation, but I've read some info that says the Pro 14" M1 out performs new M2 chips on the 13" Pros and the Air models due to having more CPU and GPU cores, built in fan to cool the processor, and the RAM is double on the 14" PRO.... The main pluses to the new Air are next gen chip (M2) and liquid retina vs. retina screen, size and weight; decisions, decisions...

    ...any additional feedback, peeps????

use to work Saturdays all the time... I didn't mind because having weekdays off let me do stuff when others were working ;)

hey, so are you running the Pro or Air w/your M1 chip?? if it's the Pro what other feedback do you have on it??

Got into a lot of elk, nothing I could pull the trigger on though.
Had this guy 35 yards away, and he was one of the smaller bulls.

Air with M1. I’m not a huge computer nerd and don’t use it to its full potential I am sure, but it is the fastest computer I have used. The display is awesome and makes photos look great!

They are pretty amazing in person, these guys were raking trees for a while. That's how I first heard them.
It's a spike only unit, no branched bulls unless you draw a special permit. :(

I did draw a cow elk tag but it opens up Nov 1st.

Does yours require the hitch pin? I like the idea, but DD's design and a teaspoon of nefarious intent could leave me without my $100 investment in 1.3 seconds. Even cheesiest locking hitchpin would be decent insurance.

Yes our design requires a hitch pin. And of course we recommend a locking one!

This might need to be the third switch in my console mod when I'm relocating my rear window switch and installing a FRAC... Old men need a lot of light to see... Thanks!

:hattip: It’s got its flaws if you look close but overall very happy with how it has aged and have zero itch to get a new one.

I think someone coaches them. When we have buck season there's a hundred does. Bow season they're all 300 yards away.

Since we don't have elks here yeah. I stopped deer hunting cause of old. Don't want to drag one and recoil hurts.
Squirrels in my yard are cute. In the woods they're dinner.:hungry:
