When you fill up, how many miles does it shows till empty?

When I bought mine a couple months ago, I was showing 480 miles to empty. Now is showing 409.

Yes, it recalculates the range based on how you drive. Disconnect your battery and range will jump up to 500+, then it will come back down over time, couple tanks of gas, once the truck learns your driving style/habits and actual MPG.

And that function is dynamic, changes based on your actual use. Burn more gas warming up the truck in winter...it will lower the range.

When I lifted/larger tires on truck I now need to disconnect battery every three weeks. When I do I get 560 but when I don't I get 412. Don't know why we don't do this with airplanes.

That makes sense. I remember getting the Tundra and was so stoked when I first saw the range it'll cover, same with our Sienna. Then few fill ups later noticed the big difference

Mine started at 540 and over 5k miles has settled at 520-530. I average about 17-17.5 over a tank, but get a little better on highways. If I'm attentive I can squeeze 600 out of 1 tank.

You're disconnecting the battery to reset your estimate? You're not changing how much fuel you burn by doing this, what's the point?

Do you have to disconnect / reconnect the battery to reset the average? I thought that I saw a reset option on one of the display screens.

Mine is always 411. But when I’m on E, I usually have 5-6 gallons left so that would add an extra ~70 miles.

Not even sure how to respond to this.
How does one even respond to this. Sarcasm says “what”.
