Excited to report a new mod I discovered today! Easy install and looks amazing! This is on a TRD Offroad. It’s the identical part with the addition of the beautiful heritage Toyota lettering. 48859840-41B8-4483-8A77-6868632CC3D2.jpg445C7DBF-3956-4EE7-B32E-D31B4C31F0E9.jpgA72668BC-FC07-4C98-8C75-32EFD2CF1DDB.jpg4B2F02D0-EC32-48EF-8AB7-100BC128FD96.jpg8A874BC3-DEB9-4C45-85FA-DA5D0A1FBBF8.jpgA5FB5E1C-F894-4196-BEA1-6D9CCB6E8B7D.jpgC7A59D59-93D8-4453-8B09-24F6B1E26F91.jpg

It will be. But we have to design it from scratch. Both, me and my buddy are prior military which means we have a knack for finding new and inventive ways of breaking stuff. We have to test and adjust so that it will not only work but still look OEM.

We have a working prototype though.

Any concerns regarding copy right issues? I know the key fob people(can't think of the name but they are popular on here) got a cease and desist and can no longer use the Toyota logo

that was AJT and MesoCustoms. They were putting “TRD” logos on their stuff. Our product will be a direct replacement but will have an EEF logo (our company) on the plate:
    1. Disassemble dash
    2. Remove qi charger and plate
    3. Buy MagSafe charger (Amazon, bestbuy, etc)
    4. Mount to our plate with installed MagSafe charger
    5. Reinstall and power charger
right now we are trying to fine tune it to get the MagSafe charge location in the best spot to accommodate iPhone Max size phones. Because it’s MagSafe, it should still hold a regular sized phone magnetically. We are also trying to replicate the right color for the plastic and texture to match as close to possible the OEM finish/appearance.

I waited 3 months for the part to ship. Thought it was just decal lettering, it’s a full replacement for the carbon fiber dash plate. Pulled the OEM stock one off, it’s held in place by clips and the passenger side air vent. One screw connects the air vent and dash plate be careful not to snap it off.

After the air vent is reattached to the new dash plate, there is also a plastic piece that needs to be aligned. Once set up with pins in the right positions, press the top and bottom of the plate to snap entire assembly into dash. I absolutely love it, really brings the dash/passenger side together ;)

My bad I thought I was replying to the guy who had the heritage "Toyota" trim piece for the dash. Oops

Toyota keys are notorious for falling apart once you replace the battery a few times. This has four set screws and prevents your entry device from scattering to the four winds.

Nice. Are they low enough to not worry about tearing up the front bumper if you pull something or get pulled out of somewhere?

Any chance you'd be willing to put (any) rope on it, once you have it installed, and raise it up as far as you can w/o touching any bumper parts....to show us (and find out for yourself) how much of an "approach angle" you get with these hooks?

Many of us are interested, but many of us are unsure how useful these really are, aside from a straight pull....before ripping parts off the truck if pulled from an angled position.
    THanks.

Sure! Totally agree the angle is very far from ideal. I like that these are far more robust and BA than the stock sway bar bushing brackets! Can run a rope and share pics of angles, they won’t be good however! ;) It may come in handy in the future in my hunting adventures when far off the beaten track.

I’m pretty sure I would tear up the front bumper if I use these. In that case it will be time for the covert bumper with winch mount! ;)

Installed the tow hooks today. My sway bar bushing brackets were held on with clips/hooks, had to force them off. After that easy install. Really like them, perfect fit and beefy/look fantastic, great fit next to the TRD skidplate.

Confusing perspective, I have another set of tires behind the truck, hence the double tires in the pic.

I agree. I believe you can clearly see them on the 4Runners with the skid plate from the front. I thought it was going to be more noticeable with the lift but negative.

Sorry, just saw this - are you talking about light patterns? I am pretty sure I went with the combo pattern for both of the 20" light bars.

I see Husky offers two styles. Does anyone familiar with Husky know the difference beside pricing. Is one plastic and one rubber? They both seem to cover and overlay floor molding. I’ve had WeatherTech in the past, not familiar Husky.
