So someone didn’t torque the wheel down properly and my wheel almost fell off. So I have 18’’ trd off road rims and the holes where the wheel studs go through are worn now, not really bad but you can slightly see it. Should i order new rims? I also had wheel spacers on and the threads on the wheel studs got messed up close to the actual spacer. Put everything back on but am a little worried about driving the truck around now.

New wheels new studs and lugnuts take spacers off unless installed correctly and torqued.

You didn't use acorns (steel rim lugs) on alloys did you?

Once a rim has the holes hogged out like that they are dangerous. Won't hold correct torque and can have play. You will need to replace the affected wheels and as mentioned above, check out the studs, they may have damage as well. I had the exact same thing happen once with a 95 Ram.

    As to OEM alloy wheels:
    Some use acorn nuts..
    Some use flat washer nuts.
