I'm new to the dash cam world and just recently installed Garmin Min 2. What is your opinion on Parking Mode? Does it drain the battery???

I have a Garmin dash cam with parking mode. It has not drained the battery. In the garmin app you can set up the time that parking mode run after you shut off the engine...2-4-12-24hr etc . I beleive it also has some sort of lower power mode where it will shut off if your battery voltage is getting lower. Either way, I keep a NOCO jumpstarter in the truck, so if anything ever happened it would take 1 min to get it started and back in action.

I think if you use their cable, it has that low power code and cuts off. I have it plugged in directly to Toyota's plug so I don't think it has that capability to sense low voltage. Currently, I have it set to 2 hours but I might do 4. What's your set to?

Which NOCO jumpstarter did you get?
