Minor technical rescue at work, had me going over a steep drop off to pull a 14 yr old kid out of the river after he got to close to the edge and it gave out under him . Me and an ATV winch got him out. Fun times

Over the years I've seen numerous people operating in various types of "civil service" capacities that choose to wait, call someone else, decide that 'it is someone else's job/responsibility', decide something is too dangerous w/o more people/resources, etc….. hell, I've even personally watched some make intentional "wrong turns" or pull over and wait till someone else gets there first to handle shit; point being… there are plenty of cowards out there, and when you choose to place yourself in harms way to help someone (especially someone you don't even know)… that's stand-up shit and shows true character!!!!

I saw on the news tonight one guy went out on a pontoon and saved 12 people in the middle of the hurricane and he said the same thing. Everyone he saved was crying and thankful AF

 

The kids brought over a base for our grand daughters car seat so we wouldn’t have to move theirs back and forth when we are babysitting.
So you know what had to be done.


Also I got it in on the second try so if you need a rocket shot into space I’m pretty confident it would be easier.

 

I have to be a car seat tech for work and I agree about the rocket.
