I have had my 2017 since new, I am kind getting bored of it lately, a case of adhd. I listed it for sale on Facebook for $34,800 and had countless people wanting to come see it etc. I just kept putting them off. I couldn't do it and deleted the ad.

Anyone else think about it? What would you replace it with?

Might be helpful to know what you use your truck for if you want decent opinions. A lot of towing, camping, and etc?

Well i'm not really looking for advice on selling or not just wondering what you guys would replace yours with if you sold it. I honestly dont tow anything anymore. Just daily it to work and take the dogs to the beach, sometimes tow my buddies boat or jet skis for him.

I’d sell mine for a 1979 diesel international scout or old school NAS spec Land Rover Defender.

In the process of working a deal to move to a TRD Pro Taco myself. Similar reasons. I don't need a full size.

If it doesn't fit your needs anymore, then there's no reason not to get something that will.

If I would sell or trade my tundra, I would probably get a Tacoma with a good frame. I would still have my Tacoma if it wouldn’t be for the frame rusting out. It past the recall but failed inspection a few years later when recall was over. But since I got a 29’ travel trailer, the tundra ain’t goin anywhere.

I have a 17. I’ll more than likely get a new Tundra in a few years when they have it more refined.

Only way I would sell my 2017 is if I needed more trailer payload like texasrho83 said.Works great with my current trailer set up.

The only thing I would trade my Tundra for is a new Tundra. I've grown to really like the new ones. I'm sure I'll get one someday, but there's no rush. I absolutely love mine.

I sold my Tundra and bought a new F250….nothing wrong with the super duty, but I miss my Tundra and I’m on the list to get a new one. But all I really need in a Tacoma.

    If I sold mine I’d still need a truck, and would get a 2500 or 3500HD Chevy/GMC.

At this point, I wouldn't even consider selling my 2018, even if someone gave me 40k for it. Even if I made 10k more than I paid, I still couldn't get anything equally as decent.

Get your truck washed and detailed and you'll fall in love with it again. Hell, get some fancy valve stem caps, get some fuzzy dice, get excited about it again. My .02

    Idk.

    I love having both.

Pondered selling one truck and getting a couple Harley’s. I miss my old Harley, but don’t think I’d do it. Just randomly comes across my mind every now and then.

I think if I did or when I do (long ways away) I’d get one of my dream rides. 50’s Chevy truck or a 30’s ford coupe ~ flat black with white walls for either. Little hot rod to scoot around in

I would love to trade in my tundra for this taco. My truck is almost paid off and I’m a working class peasant that has to get auto loans so financially it wouldn’t be smart at all especially with these high interest rates.
This Tacoma has a TRD lift and a 6 speed manual! Hhnnggg

To me, it’s the absolute perfect truck for light- to medium-duty, never-let-you-down use. I can’t imagine driving any other half-ton. The only reason mine will go is if I need an HD truck at some point in the future.

The only other thing I’ll say is that boring is good when it comes to truck ownership. I don’t want any surprises with my vehicles. I want to maintain them well myself and use them forever.

If you’re bored you need to increase your mod budget! And agreed on the fact that it’s better to be bored than frustrated with a problematic vehicle that’s in and out of the service department.

I was letting my 21 Pro sit in the garage while I kept driving my 22 Camry. Thinking about selling it and getting a Tacoma Pro. After doing a lot of thinking and having friends telling me I’m nuts to sell my 21 Pro. And started to drive my truck for quite a while and really loving it now. Sold the Camry pretty much what I paid which I new I could. So not my tundra is my every day work truck and get around. Yes it’s big but it’s fun to drive with that V8 sound. Also a year till retirement don’t really need the Camry.

That's where I'm at. Got a Tundra and then wanted a Tacoma but didn't want to part with the Tundra because I need at least 1/2 ton capabilities from to time. So found a Tacoma manual and grabbed it. I run around in the Tacoma w/ the joy of shifting gears and the Tundra is there when I need it.

4Runner (although we already have one, but I wouldn't be against getting another lol). Downside is the 4.0/5spd isn't nearly as good a pairing as the 5.7 6spd (I think you have that in your '17, right? I'm not sure when the 4.6 stopped being offered in Tundra). Or go GX460 if you want V8 and more luxury.

To be fair, for your use the only benefit of these two would be slightly smaller size for commuting/parking. And scratching your itch to change.
