    Hey all,

    (2022 Tundra SR5)

Center Dash Speaker White Noise / Static:
My front center dash speaker starts to emit white noise / static after I've been listening to music at 40+ volume for longer than ~5 minutes. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue? On one of my old vehicles, the amp had to get replaced. But I have the base sound system in the tundra and figure it could just be the speaker itself.

    Passenger Door Speaker Rattle
The passenger door speaker rattles a lot with any bass. It makes listening to music very irritating. Anyone else have this issue and solve it?

I am hesitant to try and have the dealer "replicate" these issues and waste hours of my life waiting around for a non-fix. I'd rather either replace speakers myself or get into the door to address rattles if others have discovered how to remedy these issues already.

Do you have heated/cooled seats? I originally thought my dash speakers were putting out white noise, but it turned out to be the fans on the seat chillers. They're fairly loud and it's hard to pinpoint where it's coming from.

For the door rattle with bass, try removing the little felt piece that is placed down in the inside grab handle. This piece has a hard surface on the bottom and can buzz around in that pocket. I replaced mine with some silicone pieces instead.

Thanks for the idea about the door rattle, I'll take a look!

Otherwise, I have the base cloth seats. No heating or cooling to blame unfortunately.
It's definitely the center channel and it's literally like a portable FM radio playing static.

Could the center and door speakers be blown. I like loud music but knowing where the limit is varies from song to song. Another idea is check sound settings and see how high your treble is set at. That will add hiss or static sound. Hope this helps.

My passenger door speaker rattled. Dealer replaced the speaker and solved the problem.

40+???? Hopefully you’re wearing hearing protection when you’re listening to it at that level.

I finally got around to addressing the passenger side door rattle last night. I am an asshole for not taking photos, but I pulled the door panel, and then there is a translucent plastic panel held in with blue twist clips on the inner metal portion of the door. Remove that, and reach in on the right side of that opening, I found a wiring harness with two plastic clips that were not clipped into place. I clipped those into the appropriate holes on the inner metal portion of the door, and there is zero rattle now. This is one of those things that has really been annoying the shit out of me since I purchased the truck, so it is absolutely amazing for the rattle to be gone!!!

I would also suggest replacing the panel clips with new ones (they are really cheap). I do this every time I pull a panel just to reduce the change of additional rattles and vibrations.

My passenger side rattles on factory audio settings... I'm going to have to try this out, but I'm tempted to replace the speakers with something better.

I am planning on doing this but I am patiently waiting for speaker wiring harnesses to be released.

Thanks for the info. I have the same issue so will look at doing this. I just got my truck on Friday so haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but this will save me some time.
