I'm not disappointed at all, just a little surprised that it doesn't seem that drastic a change from stock height, at least in the front. The rear is very noticeable since I can actually reach into the bed now without a ladder lol. Parked for tonight but will drive it around to tomorrow and see if it settles a little

Cleaned up the garage and re-parked it for the night and ya, I'm pretty happy with the stance. Still have the TRD skid plate and supercharger to put on so the added weight in the front may bring it down a tiny bit more. Gonna wait till I get those one, then order some Coach Builder rear shackles.

Does anyone flat tow Jeep Wrangler behind their Tundra? Idk why I didn't think of it before, but that would cut out like 2,000lbs of trailer weight. Jeep is on 37" tires and about 6" of lift via coilovers. The jeep drives fine at 60 mph, so thinking there shouldn't be any issue flat towing.

Is the intercooler for the s/c going to interfere with the aftermarket trans cooler?

No, I'm building my own fit kit for the s/c. I'll mount the intercooler on the right side or middle. Trans cooler is on the left

Someone deep keyed down to metal, a 3 on my tailgate. Not sure if it happened while parked in driveway overnight or parked in public lot in downtown Denver last week. But I've moved the jeep to the backyard and put the truck back in the garage. Not happy...gonna be ordering a cat shield soon

dude - not cool and sorry about it. I do wish I could use our garage - people are crazy and maddening

quick question - what is the purpose of flipping the leaves in the rear? do you have to do that to lower the rear? Also, does the TRD sport do the same to lower the rear?

    Thanks.

Flipping the leafs under the axle will in general give better handling than over the axle. Using the stocks springs will lower it. The trd sport does not flip the springs, but idk how many leafs are in that pack. You'll also see flipped leaf springs to under the axle on long travel rear lifted kits like Baja racers

Those aren’t key marks. That’s something being pressed against the truck and the truck moving (chain link fences are famous for similar marks, as are tree branches) from drive to park, or vice Versa, stationary truck with something being pressed against it that’s being shifted from dive to park. Did you visit a Home Depot recently, or back into a stall downtown with a tree branch?

either way it’s a huge bummer and I’m sorry to see it but rest assured that wasn’t malicious.

love where you’re headed with your truck BTW.

Not certain I can get shackles anymore. The ones that came with the SOS drop are 10" between top and bottom bolt holes. And I don't think the largest 3" CB they make is that tall. Need to get some measurements from them

Honestly not sure where they came from, but POSITIVE I would have noticed if I backed into something. It also could have come when I was parked downtown in a paid lot. There was one of those wire ropes hung up where I backed in, and that was also right next to sidewalk. Likely where it happened

Dang, definitely can't run those then. The Crewmax needs longer ones than if lowering a 2 door like @nags has. Thanks for letting me know the measurements

might be able to see if CB can manu some for a lowered truck - would only be better for his product line

So is that the sole intercooler you’re using for the supercharger as an alternative to the magnuson intercooler? Curious on the dimensions and if it’s rated for a certain amount of BTUs by the manufacturer.

The back currently sits about .25" lower than the front. It's kinda hard to notice unless on level ground. But I'd prefer the truck be level

Makes sense to me, the slope of the roof definitely makes the rear look lower as well. Did you lose exactly 2 inches up front?

did you ever figure out that issue with your airbag not fitting?

I emailed SOS Performance and his reply was to lower the shackles to the next bolt then inflate the air springs till the reached. I replied that I was concerned if I did that the rear would be even lower. Asked if the bags would inflate enough to level out the truck. No reply after that

I positive if I inflated the air springs enough to fill a 1.75" gap, that'd be too much pressure and create a harsh ride.

Hey what was your issue with the airbags in the rear? I’m planning the same setup as you, just going for the 2.5” lowering in the front instead of 2”

I probably would've done the 2.5" drop but was reading 2" is the limit for 4x4 vehicles.

The issues is that the instructions say for CrewMax trucks, to set the shackles at the tallest setting. In doing so, that leaves a 1.75" gap between the top of the air spring and the upper frame perch the top of the air spring is supposed to attach to.

That's what I need to look into, unfortunately I threw the boxes away that they came in already and don't know what model I have. But I think the fix is going to have to be a taller version of these air springs for CrewMax applications

I emailed SOS Performance again this morning since I didn't hear back from them last week. Asked if there are taller bags and reiterated that the kit they are selling does not work for the CrewMax applications like they list.

Doing some searches, I did find one site that makes a spacer for their air springs that may work, but also may be too tall a spacer. I'll contact them and see if they can do a custom one. Shouldn't be too hard an ask at all. They run $85
