2011 Tundra Crewmax shuttering from underneath when I accelerate

my truck also has a sort of hitting sound from underneath but shifts just fine. Can’t figure it out can anybody help? Or has anybody had this issue? Thanks!

 

Is it shuddering at a certain rpm or mph? Every time or once in a while?

 

It seems to shudder the most when I slowly accelerate and at around 40mph til about 45 mph big time shuddering and then fades away after I speed up more..The shuddering is pretty intense and seems to be coming from underneath in the middle somewhere

 

Start with checking joints on your drive shaft. Then grease them and see if the problem persists

Got any check engine light on ?

min my 2 cases it was the Torque converter ar the same low speed around 40 miles .

Make sure your transmission oil level is good , sometimes changing the oil will help if u still didn’t get the check engine light on the dash .

I had a shudder. Around 2k rpm and about 20-30mph. Felt like I was going over the rumble strips they have on the road. Ended up being a bad torque converter.

 

How much did it cost

 

About $1600 (that was with a discount bc I had bought the truck from the dealer). Also pre covid pricing, whatever that’s worth!

 

I have the same issue. From 35-40
