    Some.
I worked at a Jiffy Lube VERY briefly. I couldn't handle the BS they were trying to push on customers. The last straw was when the service writer told a customer that I said the in-line filter on his diesel needed to be replaced less than two minutes after I told him it was brand new and not to up-sell it. The customer told the service writer that I was a liar and it had been replaced just a couple days prior.

Made an appointment to get my 2007 undercoated with NH oil black. This truck came from Colorado and has zero rust on it. Now that it's new home is in the rust belt, I'm going to try to keep it as clean as I can.......

I got mine from Virginia with no rust. The best way I found to keep it rust free and saves on gas was to buy my 2003 Rav4. LOL

Not just today but over the last week...

Installed ICS Fab dash mount/RAM Phone holder
    Black TRD Pro Shift Knob
Removed interior trim and painted black/red
Installed Sequoia "coin slot" as it closes, and looks better IMO.

I really wish I would have had the foresight to order some AJT HVAC knobs before taking on this project and just knock it all out at once.

Looks awesome not too shiny IMO. Here’s what I did for black climate knobs.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2750255358...3vLFqmVS6m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I ended up just using the knobs from the one I bought. AJT just a bit too bulky

Thanks man! My wife talked me into getting the same polishing kit you linked me to so I had to wait for it to arrive this morning. Lol.
I went ahead and ordered the AJT knobs with the anodized red screws as soon as I was finished though. The silver knobs are bothering me way more than I had expected.

That looks perfect! Does the paint match the existing black trim? Which black paint did you use? Painting the silver trim has been on my to-do list for a while...

Thanks man! @Shanet421 helped out with some info/advice. Paint was the Krylon Fusion 5x.

Took everything apart, sanded with 600 grit sandpaper, cleaned everything very thoroughly and did several (I think 5) coats of paint.
Allowed everything to dry/cure for 24 hours. Wet sanded w/ 3000 grit sandpaper.
Then buffed everything out with some Meguiar's polish.

It's not perfect but I'm very happy with it and I do think it looks much better than the old silver.
It's a bit shinier than I was hoping for but overall I think it looks good!

Here's a photo of the can of spray. I got them at Lowe's.

I have since used that sanding kit for all types of stuff it was a good buy for sure.

One other thing to think about on the climate control knobs. The fan speed has that backlit dial behind the knob that will remain grey with the AJT. Something to think about. I think I have a photo of what I mean….546C62AF-1773-4474-A432-9DF94255D070.jpg

I don’t recommend painting that piece because it is backlit. I have seen another member painting only the bottom half black as an option

Dude, I was looking at before/after photos and that’s when I realized it’s backlit.

Im going to try a few things out, all of the black HVAC control units I’ve seen on eBay are either pretty expensive or beat to hell.

Front shocks on. Uca's and Lca's after a tank of gas(500miles or so).

    FYI: RC's springs are 3", 740lbs.

Ride greatly improved. Only interstate up to 80mph so far.....

    more to come

Ya the black one I got was thrashed but again that polishing kit was key. All you need is that ring…the rest you can go AJT.

Welp, I got got last night, we're all good.... Took a Corolla 4-wheeling courtesy of my passenger side front door and fender.... Hopefully, is not a total loss, no airbags deployed, but will need a new fender and possibly a door skin, since I can't open the door more than a couple inches..... Filed a claim this morning will see what they say.... On another note why are aftermarket parts more expensive than the stealership?? Looked at both its $100 more for a fender and door skin is 3 times more expensive with the aftermarket options......

looks amazing, very nice. Such a better choice than the usual black wheels many install.

it’s not ideal but hasn’t bothered me enough to spend the money yet. I need an off-road bumper still, and winch, and an alignment, and stuff that I always prioritize over this but yeah if money were not a factor I would buy the all black OEM one

So today I put on the @SDHQ abs guards that @1794TX pointed me to (thank you). I knocked one ABS off one time and it drove horrible until I replaced it ($125ish at autozone) so I figured these are $100 and I wanna start doing even more off roading.

They were all fairly straight forward, tedious, but the one that I previously broke was a pita to get the stud out, so I had to use blaster and torch and vice grips and make microscopic turns bc it’s pretty tight on the driver rear. I would recommend if you’re gonna drive over things.

    the backside

    Front Driver

Rear Driver, pita bc the nut came off and the bolt stayed.

I should be replacing my tie rods and UCA that came in this week but I just don’t have it in me today and tomorrow is family stuff and football so it’s not looking good this weekend. Maybe next weekend or I’ll take a day off work.

Completed the “window always down” mod this morning. It was pretty quick and simple, although I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lol. How did you do that?

I had the window always up mod for a while when the mounting tab on the bottom of the window glass snapped off.

Son handed me a half eaten, soggy granola bar thing from the backseat. Went to toss it out the window into the woods and smacked it with my wedding ring on accident and it shattered.

these unplanned window mods suck lol.
